I have the real map here in my hands and there's no wall there. Just the hindering terrain and then it's open to enter that room (looks like a kitchen, heh?). So ignore the thick grey line along C~E 8/9. At least, that's how I've always played it.

I switched the generator with one of the other objects due to egnerator being immobile and assuming you still would grab one of the other objects..if you want to switch it with the other or not have grabbed one it's no diff to me.

I knew I shouldn't try to move so close to you... I hate this map... Maybe it'll work out OK when I get my CSM on the HCFL...
