You can correct me if I'm wrong, but Atom's got an 18DV, ESD for +2 and a hindering bonus for 1 more, for an effective DV of 21 for range. Even with a 10, Maelstrom's 9 AV won't hit that. Which would mean that Maxima takes the Stunning Blow as well for 1 after Invulnerable plus the push.

I know that hitting Maelstrom is just what you want, but there's no other way to KO him but through those nasty end-dial clicks. Superman HSS to G13 to attack Maelstrom, AV12 on DV17. Gets 6. Sue makes it 8. Superman ends back where he started after dealing 4 to Maelstrom.
