Parasite is borderline overcosted, but I don't think he's actually overcosted. I've never seen him not be worth his points, but he's pretty slow and starts with short range, so he has the potential to get messed up from range before he can start wreaking havoc. The design is honestly really simple, too. No need for the complicated mess that was the Justice League one.

If I outwitted someone's Energy Shield Deflection or Super Senses, do I use that AND Parasite's Toughness?
This is for the rules thread. But yes, you can. Only Damage reducers don't stack. Defense powers that do something else can be used in conjunction with them.
I thought the dial looked okay, but after playing him the other day, I love him. Outwiting someone's impervious and stealing it for defense is hillarious. Also, the sculpt is one of the best in all of the Superman set in my humble opinion
I love this Parasite! The Outwit power gives him the ability to dish some damage and protect himself simultaneously. It's not very comic accurate (Parasite is quite dumb, actually, and also had to touch his victims to get their powers), but plays like a dream. The whole dial has either Outwit or Exploit Weakness, which allows him to be able to get through a lot of defenses, and the Steal Energy is the poor-man's Willpower. Plus, he's incredibly economical at 125. Love him.
Parasite sucks... Their opponent powers and then he defeated 'em! Played him last night (without too much fate) in a 300pts monster team and he end up eating Dr. Strange, double base cap and mac spidey. Awesome figure.
And I would argue that if the power or ability that he is trying to outwit appears on the PAC (per the glossary definition of Standard Power), then he can outwit it, regardless of what is written on that characters card.
Sorry man but your wrong. Read the power again: "POWER DRAIN: Parasite can use Outwit, but must also be within 5 squares of the target." The period separates this portion from the rest of the text. He can outwit any power that he wants. There is only a limitation on what powers he can gain.
