I get that people like Lanterns, and blue Kyle is neat from a visual standpoint, but I could care less about him as a dial in heroclix. If we're talking Lanterns I'd much rather get more of the Lantern Corps members who are proper members and have been skipped. Heck, ten slots could help us finish out the significant members from the Red Lanterns, the Blue Lanterns, the Indigo Tribe, the Star Sapphires, and even throw in a Flashpoint White Lantern.
Seriously, ten slots dedicated to supporting Lanterns corps(wo)men and then we'd only have Green Lanterns, Sinestro Corps members, and Black Lanterns to worry about. Ten slots isn't that much to ask, not when it helps complete the significant members of four or more teams.
I voted Captain Atom as well, integral DC character that needs some love from Heroclix. He like many others listed on the poll has not been made since Legacy (I think)

When I run a Sinestro Corps team I would not want a Mongul, Batman, Grodd or even Superman Prime. For me I usually like the core corps. Figures that only lasted a page or two in the comics usually don't excite me when made into clix.
That's Exactly how I build my SC teams. Every once in a while I sneak Scarecrow in.

Im not much of a DC reader myself, I have read the blackest Night and because of that I wanted to vote for the blue lantern: HOWEVER, rereading the list I found the Gentleman Ghost, and then it became simple.
I'm a huge Kyle fan from Grant Morrison's JLA and a bit of his Green Lantern stuff, but it really does seem silly that anyone would vote for a character who existed in that form for all of one story over clix that haven't been made, like Sand and Kanjar Ro, or clix that desperately need to be remade, like Big Barda (who I voted for. I need a strong version both for JLA teams and to team with Mr. Miracle!)

I think Sand, Red Tornado and Big Barda are good choices for what their powers can bring to the game and because they are not as well represented as Kyle.
But I voted for Barda. You can't go wrong with a big, superpowered girl wielding a mega-rod.

Thoroughly agree with the OP. I'm not against Blue Lantern Kyle, just not for him. And SimonMoon5 makes a superb point: if he's done right, Blue Kyle wouldn't be very good on a BL team (and, frankly, shouldn't even theme up with Green Lanterns, given the nature of his storyline).
Complete the modern era JSA...vote Sand.
This sums up my feelings, though I voted Kanjar Ro as a fan of DC Cosmic. If a Legionnaire had been a choice, there would be no doubt where my vote would go. Since Kanjar Ro is L.E.G.I.O.N.-related, he's the next best candidate.
I'm not for the BL Kyle, but the versions made after Collateral Damage have been less than desirable as far as playability goes.
Honestly, all of the candidates should be made/re-made.

I would love someone to explain intelligently why this version of Kyle SHOULD be made. From what I've seen, there are a lot of very good reasons not to make him, but I haven't seen a single good one why this version should be.
I'm not trying to be a troll; I just want someone to explain to me why this version is a good choice for the game.
I went with Captain Atom, but I'm biased towards anything JLI.
I was disappointed at the selection. There are so many figures that need to be remade, it's almost unfair to put Captain Atom, Barda and Tornado on this list, because we need newer figures that can compete. But, I would much rather have seen 12 entries that have never been clixed before. Red Star? Thorn? These are the best choices they can come up with for non-clixed figures?

I agree. Vote for Barda so my Apokoliptian army can have more figures.
Done!
Though I wish I could also vote for Gentleman Ghost, even though I don't know anything about him. The description makes him sound very Gold/Silver Age goofy in all the right ways.

Don't Blue Lantern rings make Green Lantern rings more powerful? I guess he could be the only Blue Lantern with the Green Lantern keyword (err... other than Ganthet) and have some kind of super-Enhancement?
A vote for BL Kyle is a waste because I guarantee that they will make him eventually anyways. It is most definitely in the cards and is only a matter of time.
Some of the other figures on this list are much much much much more deserving since they either have not been made yet or are in desperate need of a remake.
The problem here is it seems the Lantern fans are far outweighing the opinions of those who desperately want one of the many other deserving figures. There are many more other comics which have been more popular than Green Lantern over the years. Hell, GL was on the verge of cancellation before the Sinestro Corps Wars.
I myself am a giant Lantern fan, yes I dislike Kyle, but that is because I have been collecting Green Lantern since the early 1980's and my collection goes as far back as 1968. To me the Kyle Lantern days of the book were the dark days when DC was trying to cater to a younger market after resetting the universe with Zero Hour (sound familiar?)
I don't mind Kyle as part of a team. In fact the last run of Green Lantern corps was one of my favorites. But him as a blue lantern was a niche story and just a "plot device" (since others like to use that term). He simply wasn't that good at it either.
But anyways. We already have what 5 or 6 versions of Kyle? By comparison NONE of the other figures in this list have been given that much love in Heroclix.
And I don't care what people say. The DC75 version of Kyle is awesome. Plain and simple. If you aren't happy with that or the CD LE, I don't know what to tell you.
I complain just as much about Hal having so many figures made. Obviously I am a Hal fan #1, but the truth is he has plenty of great versions to play with. As I said in another thread there are so many more Lanterns of all colors that need to be made before we get another Kyle.
Copied from my other post:
I have said for a long time many other members of the Corps deserve to be made:
Adara
Apros
Arkkis
Bzzd
Chaselon
Galius Zed
Hannu
Larvox
Medphyll
NautKeLoi (Yes Please!)
Palaqua
RRU-9-2
Voz
The list goes on and on... and that's JUST the Green Lanterns. There are a TON of characters from the Lantern Mythos that still need to be made.
As much as I love my Corps. Hal and Kyle are NOT 2 that need more figures for a while.
Blue Lantern Kyle WILL get made. It is only a matter of time. This is why I did not vote for him.
So don't worry, I didn't vote for him. My only concern is that the votes that will go to other figures not named Kyle are so spread out across the other figures that it is a moot point since the Kyle fans are so centered and concentrated on that one figure. There are 5 other figures on that list I want to see made and obviously I can't vote for all 5 of them.
Alex Ross hates Kyle Rayner too. I hope the Death's head sculpt is hideous and his dial is just as bad.
