Nice to see they fixed the AE pushing damage issue. Ironically though, Hulk is the one figure where it could conceivably be a benefit to take pushing damage.
And what's the story on "Outback Hulk?" Not at all familiar with that particular incarnation. Obviously some X-Men related thing...

Ah, thanks. Never did get around to that. Not really a fan of most "alternaverse" types of storylines. Neat look for him though.
I do like that Defense SP - very different.
And anyone who manages to AE Bruce into that first Hulk wil have one helluva powerhouse going on for a mere 55 points! Interesting that they didn't allow the AE to work with the starter version, but instead a future set version.

Outback Hulk likes Gypsy or the new Brute Honor Guard from HaloClix in reverse-dial play
Someone doing 1 damage shouldn't hurt the Hulk. So it's good they added Toughness. But man, will that be a hassle to take him down. Chances landing on the last click using his whole dial is slim. But for 55 point man he'll be a nuisance.
Decent Hulk at the mid-level points. I don't care much for the AE dynamic. You get only a sliver of the alter ego which doesn't feel right to me but I don't miss activiation clix either. At least this way I get one figure I like rather than dealing with activation clix.
Frankly, Bruce as a cheap outwitter is actually decent as well decent. If he gets to transform (as opposed to being knocked right thru the option or being outwitted) I suppose that's icing on the cake? Oh coarse there are better outwitters at that cost.
Well, there you go. No more mystery about The common Hulk. I have to say I really have mixed feelings about this revelation. I like the Bruce Banner piece, but the AE is not what I was expecting a multiple-transformation AE, with versions of Hulk being "Mr. Fixit" Hulk, the "Professor" Hulk and a "Savage" Hulk. It feels like a missed opportunity to me.
The common Hulk looks very good for the points and will be very playable, though it wasn't what I was hoping for. I was expecting a real beast of a character like the common Superman figure, but this one seems far to weak to be the "real" Hulk. Only one click of Regeneration? Fail. Hulk's regenerative ability has always been stronger tha Wolverine's. Why no continual Regeneration trait for him? There are just so many more things that could/should have been done with this character. I just have to hold out hope that there will be other versions more to my liking in the GF set or other versions of Hulk yet to be revealed in this set.
As far as "Outback" Hulk goes, he also looks decent and playable, but just wasn't what I was hoping for. I got really excited about the special Defensive power when I read about it until I realized it was ONLY ON ONE CLICK. Bah!
I feel like a kid at Christmas who receives several nice gifts - but not any of the things he was most looking forward to receiving. Hopefully I will be more excited by future reveals, including next week's Caiera.
Let's Play "Whoizzit?"
My Avatar is an as-yet-un-clixed character. If you know who it is, be the first respondant to correctly identify this character I'll send you some free rep!
Am I the only one pissed that there is basically a reprint-new paint job common sculpt in a SR slot? Also, I fall into the "Hey, this isn't the power-house common I was looking for" camp. Jedi mind trick or not. Still- I like the figures. The only one I am "wtf?" about is the brick figure. Kinda lame if you ask me.
