This is a good Hulk. Maybe not the end all be all Hulk, but very playable for his points. Should be fun to see that special power in action, and hes not dropping that object ever!
This is a good hulk, for building as part of a team. The disappointment with this dial seems to mostly come from the fact that it isn't in the 300 point range.
The universe is governed by a tendency toward disorder, we refer to the quantification of that tendency as Entropy Boston Heroclix
This Hulk is OK, but not what fans wanted. The trait is good, as I've never seen a Hulk without Super Strength. Wish that special power on attack was part of the trait, as well. It is a good idea, and could be made better if changed a bit. Also, every Hulk needs some sort of continual Regenerative power. Either make it an automatic thing - as was done with Wolverine - or make sure he's Indomitable and give his a trait that says he can use Regeneration.
Let's Play "Whoizzit?"

I don't think this Hulk is as bad as some people believe. In sealed, or against other Modern Marvel figures (ie, not DC figures or figures from SI-HoT era), I think this Hulk will easily earn his points. He's a lot of what we'd expect of Hulk, really: huge damage, huge attack, decent mobility, hard to hurt and kill (especially if you're just some street punk-level villain or army man).
But he's not even close to the best Hulk, and that's frustrating. Is his dial better than Rampaging Hulk? Debatable: This Hulk is indomitable and has more -2 damage reducers, and his Super Strength is outwit-proof, plus he's got some built in outwit-resistance on top of that. But Rampaging Hulk has beautiful special powers, more mobility, higher average defense values, an extra click of life, and is capable of making ranged attacks (since he's ironically not saddled with a full dial of Battle Fury). What seals the deal though, is that Rampaging Hulk is 37 points cheaper. Was hoping our Common Hulk would remedy having a rare NGN clix as the definitive version of a character, but I guess not...
In sealed, or against other Modern Marvel figures (ie, not DC figures or figures from SI-HoT era), I think this Hulk will easily earn his points.... Pretty weak. So what your saying, is under very rare and specific circumstances, this Hulk could potentially not completely suck..?
Oh, and provided the opponent can never roll above a 5 the entire game. And provided no one uses Outwit. Ever.
Not a terribly compelling argue for the pro-Hulk forces.... :tired:
I like the dial well enough- I was just very disappointed to get the Hulk mini-me sculpt. Seriously disappointed with this set from a visual standpoint, but the Hulk takes the cake as the biggest let down. Well, at least I have a use now for my Heroscape Hulk figure.
Went ahead and played this piece along with the Hercules in a Sealed Tournament (Avengers Themed Team) and must admit that this piece did exceptionally well. Indomitable, Trait Super Strength and those brutal clicks at Click 4 & 5 make this Hulk a formidable piece to field. As others have said, throw him to apply pressure with the top-loaded Charge (with indomitable i.e., attack following turn,) play "Chicken" per se with your opponent, maybe you take a hit giving you 3 to 4 clicks of damage in which case ... off you go to some Hulk SMASH!

No idea how this beast is only 3 stars right now. I just played him and C Abomination against a Man-Beast and a Hulk Robot. He MURDERED both of them. Abomination did 4 clicks of damage; this beast did the rest. The key to playing him is to let him take his pushing damage depending on how much damage his target can do. Still, he's really great. 5/5
Well... Man-Beast withot the Mastermind Fodder is trash and with Hulk's Battle Fury he ignores shapechange. Hulk isn't bad, he's just a good "class B" piece.
I freaking love this Hulk. I played him and a Hulk Robot against a team with a Black Bolt today. They slayed. Hulk was knocked onto his 4th click, and Hulk Robot remained untouched with that pseudo-imperv he's got. And that 75 points or less special ability? Totally comic accurate. Icing on the cake.
Win/Loss: 5-1 This was the Hulk I was waiting for from this set and he does not disappoint. 5 in playability due to cost and what he brings. He is a relentless beast that just keeps coming and at 165 points he can be fielded with a team that only makes him deadlier. Newer and weaker players who struggle with non-ranged / non-HSS pieces will still struggle with this brute, although he is very forgiving. Its the patient skilled player that will shred teams with the guy. So much fun to use, I'd recommend this Hulk for the new player trying to grow their game. Lunge is a great feat choice to improve his mobility and make him especially brutal. Cannonball is great at setting up surprise attacks on the unsuspecting.

Reason: Updating w/l record
Visible Dials and Pushing Damage need to be optional. This is the way.
As good as you're ever going to get for a 616 Hulk at near-full power, and not be a 300+ monster. In fact, he clocks in at close to 150 (the WK magic number, along with 50 and 75). Super Strength as a trait? Check. Indomitable and Regen? Check. Without his "Puny Humans" SP, he'd be an even 150, but I like having the option to nerf Outwit and attacks made by OotS Batman, HoT Captain America, and other "75 and under" characters, and all while remaining on his best clicks. 5 Stars!
