The latest word from GD is that Excessive Force will be once per turn.
So obviously there will be no need for an Errata update since it was never addressed in this last guide. But since the Final Word is based purely on the GD leanings, when will that be changed??

We're still working on it.
The consesus so far seems to be that a "Once per turn..." will be added to just make it absolutely clear.
Kinda need a time line on this... playing Magog this Thursday, need to know how his trait works...
It works the way your judge wants it to work.
As far as a timeline, it is done when it is done. Seeing as how the old FW entry still only gave a suggested ruling without any actual errata, I fail to see how this new information should be handled any differently...
I'm happy with that, I thought it was too powerful before.
Still interested in a ruling on free actions from different sources.
And it's the waiting for that answer that's making you say, "But I Want To Die..."?
Vulture: I'll drop you from the sky and watch you drop like a rag doll! Spider-Man: And this'll be when? After Ock rips me limb from limb? Or after Venom eats my brains? Oh, I almost forgot; he also has dibs on my spleen...
Hardly, as it rarely is an issue. But I'd like to know so I don't feel like an ### for getting it wrong or having to make a game-changing call during a tourney.
I'm confused as to why an additional line or an errata is needed. If the current rules forbid the free action from the same source and the recently errata'd guide did not clarify that he works otherwise, why is any line being added? Was it added for Gambit/Rogue?
It seems that the only place where it was ever documented that he would work that way was in the Final Word thread.

because even though it says that you can't use the same free action, there is still ambiguity on it. If you really are interested go read the long thread about the discussion on it.
Not the way it works around here... because if that was the case he would just say 'I Win' and that would be the night... when we have a rules problem we go to the Realms to find the answer...

For those curious about the name of the thread and haven't read the first page, the thread was originally about Manhunter Grandmaster's regeneration power.
