sigh...always glad to see a new version made....but the finality of this preview is like a coffin nail in how much this set failed...

Not really. Since it's powers like HSS and such that really up the costs.

Eh. It's kind of excused in this case due to the late decision to boost the size of the set. And at least they're altering the sculpts with new pieces, rather than just repainting them. It's just something that we're going to have to get used to.

Honestly, given the massive price increases for manufacturing, painting, shipping, etc... I would rather see some sculpt re-use like this over raising the price. Which is what would happen if every sculpt had to be 100% unique. Neca/Wizkids are trying to maintain the current price point, that requires some sculpt reuse.

Whatever the character can be, cosmic hulk or superman, or any hero/villain : I really still find that "fast" characters should have a HUGE speed value while characters known for their "hit and run" tactics should have HSS...

Well, i thought that renaming powers on the card was a big way to make the better use of them, but there are still odd uses. Characters should not have powers based on the name on PAC but based on the effect on play.

How do you know they didn't re-use the SR sculpt for the other figures

Anyway, I like this figure and can't wait to get him.

I know they upped the price when oil skyrocketed, but then the price of the raw material went down again and the booster cost stayed steady. Am I missing some things?

Exactly. Seriously, that makes 2 Super Rare Hulks with the same base mold. Not even for the Super Rares are they willing to dish out the dough to get a whole newly designed sculpt? Does that make 3 Hulks in the Set alone with the exact same base mold? RRRRrrrraaaaahhhhh, Dark_Knight angry!
