Does not look like he'll play well on Infinity Watch teams as almost every Adam Warlock piece wants to use regeneration and/or steal energy, but the Thanos of the comics isn't really known for playing well with others either. Cool piece.
Awesome sauce. I see nothing wrong with Thanos' ability to deal up to 7 penetrating damage with a 14 AV @ 150 points. He is best left in the background to scheme, only to come forward at full power-- very comic-accurate.
So as it happens there are two colossal figures who have an ability to empower 150 and less characters. So on huge 1000 point tournament teams you can play Galactus at 600 and make Thanos a Herald of Galactus which quite honestly is an awesome comic idea. And you could make him a minion of Dormammu (which would only be a ploy for power) to increase his base dials to exactly the same values of his 300 point counterpart, except now he has a 6 damage and an 11 movement. It's costly but my goodness could this be hilarious. Plus he still has the powers of a 300 point Thanos. Played with either colossal he still has pumped up stats that make him a monster.
on his 150 pt dial. his stats aren't nothing to scream about. but his trait may help with that a little. my biggest thing is using him a herald for galactus. yeah i think he'd do nicely. either way im sold nxt chance i get im picking one of these bad boys up
If you played the white lantern object would characters be able to heal as long as there in within four squares?
You mean this one:White Lantern
Immobile Object
Characters within 4 squares of this object that can use Support or Regeneration can't have those powers, or special powers that allow their use, countered.
From the 2014 core rulebook: "Special powers are indicated by a white circle on the character card and a white square outlined in black on the character’s combat dial."
Thanos's battlefield condition is triggered by a trait and not a special power. Therefore, White Lantern object is no more useful than a camping lantern found at a garage sale when Thanos is on the battlefield.
