Darnit, where were you yesterday so you could have saved me from another question!?
Okay, I will delve back into my favorite part of Dc history, all those lesser known properties they bought from Fawcett, Quality, etc.
By my count DC has published at least 5 comics that were Quality titles. Not characters that never had their own eponymous comics, but actual titles of the comic. For example, The Spirit is one of them.

Can any of you name 3 of the other 4?
Blackhawk, G.I. Combat & Robin Hood Tales. And some romance book, I think.

GREAT JOB!!
Plastic Man and Kid Eternity also. You got one that I forgot- the Robin Hood Tales one! I went and checked the Romance titles, I didn't see one that DC carried over, but that doesn't mean they didn't use the same title a decade later.
GI Combat and Blackhawk were the only two that kept on uninterrupted. The others had long breaks in service.

I thought Plastic Man and Kid Eternity were canceled before DC bought the rights, so I didn't think they fit in. Ah, well. No harm done.
I could swear there was a short-lived romance book. I'm probably mistaken.
GI Combat and Blackhawks were easiest to remember. I mentioned on another thread the other day I've been looking to find reprints of Blackhawk comics featuring Miss Fear.
Anyways, now I need to think up a new question. BRB, ASAP.
I meant if you would have been on here yesterday or whenever I got the thread with my only partially correct answer, you would have gotten the thread since your answer was 100% correct. Good to see another person on here by the way!
where was this lampoon at? their regular magazine or a show? I do not recall it at all.
The book was titled "National Lampoon Comics #1".
As a hint, the story was basically the opposite of a Quality Comics Blackhawk storyline. It involved "peace". And the name was therefore the opposite of Blackhawk's name.
