We won't know if something is broken until it comes into play. But it seems that using Multi-Attack to perform two actions, and one of those is an action that should place two action tokens, is at least bypassing a cost of using the double power action SP. The issue to me isn't the "300pt/ turn cap" but rather the issue of being able to place 300 pt characters (or 2 150pt figs) in 2 consecutive turns.
But if this works within the rules, that is great. Thanks for bringing your ruling on this, Normalview.
Except you can't do that. Again, assuming the spoiler is accurate, if you have placed 300 points worth of characters, you can't place any more until at least enough has been KO'd to get you back below 300. If you place a 300 point character with Multiattack, then your second action can't be use use the Factory dial.
It used to be, but it was indeed changed with the 2011 Rule Book.
Ah, I think the last time I used a figure with Multiattack was end of 2010/beginning of 2011. Was showing of my Spectre. Had someone argue that I couldn't use Multiattack to use phasing/teleport and then attack. They were right at the time.

I thought you couldn't use a double power action if you already had 1 or 2 tokens. How is it then that you can use a double power action twice as part of a multi-attack?

Because they are free double power actions, courtsey of the Multiattack. This is no different from a MC'd character that has two tokens being given a free... any kind of action, really.
Power action to use Multiattack:
- Free double power action to use Sentinel Assembly-Line turns the Factory dial twice. put no figurine ( click 3 -60 pts)
- Free double power action to use Sentinel Assembly-Line turns the Factory dial twice and don't put a fig. (click 5 - 75 pts)
Turn 2 (and assuming no Sentinels were KO'd during the opposing player's turn)
Power action to use Multiattack:
- Free double power action to use Sentinel Assembly-Line turns the Factory dial twice and lets him spit out a 100 point or less character. (click 7 - 100 pts)
- Free double power action to use Sentinel Assembly-Line turns the Factory dial twice and lets him spit out a 150 point or less character.
Multiattack resolves with 250 or less new characters on the map. (click 9 -150 pts)
Turn 3 - clear or use colossal stamina to do turn 4
Turn 4
Power action to use Multiattack:
- Free double power action to use Sentinel Assembly-Line turns the Factory dial twice and lets him spit out a 300 point or less character. (click 11 - 300 pts)
- Free action of your choice
Multiattack resolves with 550 or less new characters on the map. (click 9 -150 pts)
Considering you can do this in a 600 pts game and have 1150 pts of stuff on the board on turn 3. that seems broken...

Sure... by turn 3 at the earliest. What is your opponent doing during those three turns that is letting you do all this with impunity? I'd be attacking the heck out of Mastermold, personally. Especially with him just sitting there not really doing anything to defend himself.
Um... I thought you couldn't activate the same ability twice with a free action in the same turn? Wouldn't you just be able to use the double power action and then do something different?

Multiattack is one of the exceptions to that rule.
Multiattack
The Capture ability may not be used via the free action granted by Multiattack.
The free actions used in this ability may activate the same effect.
during turn 2, after I pop out the 2 sentinels, nothing said they can't be giving actions to attack your guys and limit your ability to attack master mold. It's not like he's alone anymore.

And nothing says I have to attack them; Mastermold is the obvious threat. That's not even counting whatever I did during the first turn.
Again, why would your opponent just let you keep doing this?
tchuck- You are forgetting the 300 point limit. You can't get to 1000 points in 3 turns. The absolute best you could ever reach is 599, assuming you can figure the math to get to 299 with small sentinels.
So, wouldn't it be best to just not pump out any guy during the first turn so that you can wait till you get the Factory Dial maxed? It does say you may place a character on the map next to Master Mold.
