So if the character with psychic blast gets outwitted but it shows psychic blast on the gauntlet will he be able to use it.
Yes, Psychic Blast was countered on the dial, but the gauntlet which allows him to use it cannot be countered and since he is no longer a figure that can use it from another game effect, he will gain access to using it from the gauntlet.

That's the one! Thank you. And you can see by my posts, I fully support the current ruling, but you can see what had me confused.
