I'm sorry but I am throwing down straight 1's on this. It's &*^%ing stupid to have something like this in a game that is supposed to have some sort of strategy and tactic to it. I guess the only thing it does that is positive is that is gives dimwits who have no concept of strategy a chance at winning. I really hope that WK never does these "colossal" figs again. It is certain that ANY turny I run, will bar these figs from play.
That is not how this system works man. You can not, like it is illogical, to say it is OP and broken then give it's dial a 1. Please don't ruin the rating system.
This guy is TOO good, today he took down every player he faced, without difficulty. I played Cosmic Hulk, Chase Loki, & the common Adam Worlack against him, died in 3 turns. Same case with everyone. He is too fracking good, ruined the game, at least my opponent was nice enough to apologize afterwards, even he felt bad.
Let's see...
The Dial: The Dial is uninspired and 1 dimensional, so 1.
Sculpt: The Sculpt is also crap so 1 there.
Playability: No one wants to play you when you use this thing so... making it almost unplayable so... also a 1.
Comic Accuracy: Cant remember the time that Galactic went running fro Ziran the Tester... so also a 1.
I didn't "ruin" any rating system, I am being honest.
Question: He does up to six clicks before the game even starts right? So to pose a scenerio 600pt Ziran is facing a 600pt Galactus he chooses to deal all six clicks to Big G's Herald and kills him. After that the game starts and the trait for Galactus states that when he starts his 600pt dial you may place your hearld back on click #1 in your starting area. So would the Herald come back? and the clicks of damage be wasted?
I have NO idea what a "baby back ######" is. I assume had the expletive not been censored it might have made more sense, but as it stands I would ask you to change it to something along the lines of... "douchebaggery". That still would not get me to re-review my review of this horrible, tasteless, skill-less fig, but it would at least have been an insult found in the parlance of our times.
I just hate this figure, But I have a question are his tests an attack? His dail doesn't say. So if he gave all possible 6 damage to say Bombastic Bag Man would would Bobastic's trait deal him the same damage?
Really, this much whining about Ziran? I'll say the same thing about him that I did about Galactus, start playing lots of theme teams at your venue, buy the Superman FF and play Bizarro World against him every time you see him. As long as you can get to him from somewhere he can't reach you via double tk, hypersonic or whatever else you can come up with, you win. Eventually the other players will start thinking twice about bringing 3x6 one man armies that lose to the map and you can get back to playing actual games.
what's up with all the whining. this guys is beatable. even with the testing. that's the thing guys, every figure in heroclix is beatable. crying about cheapness is just an excuse for losing. yeah it takes more thought and god knows your dice rolls need to be on point. but a 600 pt team of well thought out figures could take this guy. against a good team and a good player it does take skill to stay alive with this dude. i know at least 2 of my friends who'd eat this dude up.
Eh. Ziran has 20 clicks. DM has 19. DM is going to start on click 7 assuming a straight 600pt match up because he's going to fail every test. Which means that DM has an attack of 12 with EE firing on Ziran's 20 Impervious (needing 8s) and Ziran has a 13 Incap firing on DM's 18 Invulnerability (needing 5s). Depending who moves and fires first (only getting one attack) Unless DM hits early on and drops Ziran's defense, which also gives him Probability Control at times, I can see Ziran taking out DM even with the Psychic Blast/Pulse Wave power. It's not a guaranteed victory for either really.
I don't know if there are any special rules for Doctor Manhattan besides the special powers listed in the units section. Is he outwitable, because that would definitely be a plus for Ziran.
