B/C/F to represent billy club and tazer? Sounds like incap to me, but I guess I could see Thanos taking 4 damage after reducers from taking a club to the face.

Quoted for truth.
Cool dials, but severely overpowered, imo. The Avengers set at least gave us some cheap generics for a little more realistic tone. These dials don't bat an eye at how ridiculously powerful they claim to be.
Funny that the "gritty, realistic" Nolanverse Batman characters sport the most colorful and fantastic dials of those characters that we've ever seen.
True, but that's kind of her bag. It doesn't really make sense that swat armor gives the same kind of reducing power as an extremely powerful mutant's impenetrable skin.
Then again, we are dealing with fictional characters here...what do I know?
Nice dials but I cannot get over how boring these characters are. Gordon is passable but a generic riot cop certainly doesn't excite me to play this game.
Gordon giving Batman/Dark Knight basically a 12 movement charge at the begining of the game.
Actually my first thought was Gordon just became Deadshot's best friend.
Alan Scott Green Lantern makes a solid pair up as well. Effective 13 movement Running Shot, 11 if you decide to haul Gordon along with you for the PD.
Too bad you can't do both in a standard game - 2 points over the 300 mark. Although for 300, baring the impending retirement, you could do....
89 Deadshot
68 Lt. Gordon
43 The Holiday Killer
60 Edward Nigma
37 The Question
Deploy Enigma and Deadshot with Gordon, then pick whether you want Outwit or PD to have adjacent line of sight. Take the shot with Deadshot with Enhancement for 5 penetrating damage, and put the token on Enigma so you can do it again the next turn. Spend your last action (or two, if you made Leadership) deploying one or both of your remaining two outwit pieces.
After seeing the weak dials of AVM, i was expecting little about this set (also, i don't care about Batman stuff) but this set is week after week showing awesome pieces.

And any of the other less powerful characters with b/c/f that decide to wear costumes instead of uniforms are more justifiable in doing 4 to Thanos? Don't get me wrong, that is an absurd scenario considering the characters involved, but the problem lies more with impervious not really being the most accurate way of representing characters at that end of the power spectrum than with b/c/f being overpowered. But then if we were going for complete accuracy here, half the characters that deserve impervious should be practically invicible to almost every attack, so you really have to just accept the mechanics for what they are and think more in terms of game balance and practicality.
Actually Billy club and taser sound like two different powers to me.
Billy club : CLose combat expert with incap if you do more than three damage.
Taser: Incap w one penetrating damage. If you roll ten or higher.
BCF doesn't fit the weapon imo. But, I guess you could direct a nerve shot or pressure point to take down a foe and the GCPD are trained to do that right?
As for Invuln, Seems a bit much. What about toughness with energy shield deflection? Hard to get around the shield, but if it happens then the device does protect you a bit.
This just tells me that the bad guys in the set have many weapons that reduce defenses, Sgt, Joker has PB all through his dial, Ras has exploit weakness, and we haven't even seen the main versions of those figures.
Honestly I've been waiting for some cool cops to play and it seems like the batman set is going to deliver. Double dial choices make it even more fun to own three or four of these cops. Lt. Gordon is a must have for any Gotham keyworded team.
Each week I am happier I'm picking up some of this set.

Gordon giving Batman/Dark Knight basically a 12 movement charge at the begining of the game. Seriously? Plus Batman has the flight ability, can basically go wherever he wants in that 12 movement...
Gordons SP says you have to replace the movement value of the characters moving for free with his own unmodified value.
