Enjoying the show guys. Try this for fun 400pts. 250 Dormammu, 50 Watcher, 75 Dr. Strange, and the Gauntlet on Dormammu. Energy shield/deflection boost from Strange would really make them immune to ranged.
Something I missed a little more than I should have was the "funny" question from ep02 (exploit weakness lol)
I have some questions/topics for your next show:
Concerning colossal special powers/traits, in your guys' opinions, what are some "broken" or highly abusive scenarios/combos that might come up in various games? (My Herald, Testing, etc.)
Using comparisons/examples, do you think DC heroclix are overall just better or more point-cost efficient than Marvel heroclix? (mostly everyone seems to lean this way, but what do you guys think?)
What do you think of the marketing or production techniques in heroclix? (single fig boosters vs standard booster sets? 8 booster and 1 super booster vs standard brick? team packs? blister pack vs blind purchase? etc)
For players just getting in, you should list some good starting pieces that can be obtained easily (and cheaply) from the recent sets.

Thanks for posting a new vid!
Thanks for the comments and for watching. We'll work some new questions in the next video..
Great videos. I subscribed to your Youtube videos because I like them not for the HULK.
I already have a HULK and I know you were very excited to play him. How well has he done for you. I haven't had much luck. Being a Giant he is too easy to target.

Hes been great for me. I like that he's a giant makes it easier to attack people, effectively adding 1 to his movement on charge. Gaunlet + Soul Gem + Time gem. Super Senses with Impervious and 19 Def. then he gains life from his charges, he's been a beast. I love him. Don't know how well he'd do in strict competitive play he's only seen play on the kitchen table so far.
edit: can't wait to throw the space gem on him to go real crazy with the charges.

TT - don't like Giants and you don't like Charge and you've been playing since 04 at least??? Who the heck have you been playin' with, man?
Plan a vacation to DisneyWorld in Orlando sometime and make some time to play at my venue. You will have a whole new bag of tricks using Giants and Charge, my friend!
On Topic:
Closed Caption would be nice as my sound card has been broken for years and I don't know enough about computers to buy the right one and replace it.
The show is pretty good. I disagree with some of your points (Charge being a huge one) but others I agree on. I think the most important part is the passion - so good job, there.
As a point of constructive criticism, make sure to push the boundaries of your game by finding the value in every figure. THAT is what is needed in a HeroClix show. Telling viewers Common Superman is good is obvious and dull. Pointing out how one could effectively use AVM 203 Nick Fury (for example) can set your show apart.
I cringe when I hear "strict competitive play" discussions because its just too narrow. Great for a segment. Not for every show.
I'd also recommend finding positive things to say about every figure you discuss. Bashing a figure is easy especially in the context of "your personal style". For a show wanting to educate players, providing ways to make a figure work, team qualities needed for maximum effect, needed build total sizes, and even skill level recommendations could just open up the show into a series of segments that keep moving it along.
Take what you like, ignore what you will, regardless - good luck on further episodes!
Visible Dials and Pushing Damage need to be optional. This is the way.
We pushed back our shooting a little bit to give everyone a chance to enter. I think we are recording our winner episode tomorrow night. So if you haven't commented, do it now.
You guys have a solid show. Insightful comments about clix gameplay and strategies. The contest is a cool perk to subscribing as well. I posted a comment in the hopes of getting that AVM Hulk #202 since I can't even buy the AVM gravity feed anywhere in Canada yet!
p.s. my post was the one with all of the Hulk puns!
The contest has officially ended. We shot the winner show tonight and I expect it to be up on Friday. Good Luck to everyone who has entered and I can honestly say there were multiple people that we wanted to choose.
I think the premise of the show is novel, and I like that there is someone out there hosting a show about HeroClix, but I hope you are open to receiving some constructive criticism:
While I realize your show is in its infancy, I feel compelled to say that is is highly unpolished. By that I mean to say that there is seemingly no scripting, and that both gentlemen seem very nervous in front of the camera. To my point about scripting I would just say that right now it seems like you have some talking points "in mind" prior to rolling the camera, but no driven script, which leads to a disillusioned rambling between two friends about seemingly random heroclix topics. Lots and lots of "uhm" "er" "and...uh" "yeah, uhm..." "so..." is really distracting from the subject matter and just comes of as unpreparedness.
How much the quality of the final product matters to you is ultimately your decision. These are just some thoughts I had while I have been watching your show...

I agree. I will also say that I suffer the same thing in my show as well. Worst part is that I've done competitive Speech and debate for over 10 years.
HCREALMS LOADS SLOW IN THE UNITS SECTION. Preload all your talk about figures or know what they do. It is one reason why I do a lot of prep work ahead of time. I know what figures I'm going to break down 90% of the time. There is a 10% OMG I NEED TO CHECK THIS in each podcast that just happens. I either pause recording or I stall. Most of the time I stall. I have that luxury because i'm technically audio only.
You have a good setup with your rig one thing that you can do that I tried and failed to do with my puny web cam is show battle formations and impact.
You have a feel of where your going and what your audience wants. I'm an hour-hour and a half show. I can go longer but I had to adapt and cut up my episodes for my listeners. I used to have video of me just talking looking at the screen. People didn't like that so I adapted and went audio only. My host stopped audio only so I changed again. I will tell you as a one programer to another to make sure you make adjustments only that fix time and viewership issues. Be glad you have someone that can run your twitter. I hate twitter. But it allows you to get great feedback.
