It's 70pts versus 40pts. So instead of roughly 1/7th of your team it's now roughly 14th of your team. So most folks would prolly lose that Roulette or Cypher. It's just meant to rein it in without having to completely change it.

I don't see how thats possible. If you rush the gauntlet user, they won't be getting to that +2 stat bonuses as easy as you make it seem.

I think its the best time to come. The gauntlet player will obviously wait for the bomb to go off and be pretty much safe while waiting for it, but the bomb player should know this is the best time for rushdown. Get characters running and moving.

I see, though I dont think it would change much in the long run.

Think of it like the old Icons Supes days. it was possible at 300pts that he could have TK & Support(or PC) or OW & Support(or PC). This change would be akin to him having only one of those pit crew powers. Thus making him a little more easy to deal with. Sure he'd still be able to heal, but he can't reroll a crit miss/hit or sure he can reroll that crit hit/miss, but he can't heal, etc...

He'd still be a viable benchmark, but not so far past everything else out there that you need to specifically build against it.

isn't there a few threads on this already? my thought on it tho is to make relics part of the 10% rule, then you can't use the gauntlet at full unless the games 400 pts and up
