But now they will make it more connected to Earth and although they will face cosmic sounds like they wont be the isolated corner they were before
That sounds awful. What I like about cosmic books being "in their own little corner" is the fact that editorial doesn't really bother them much, unless Silver Surfer is called in for a new Defenders team.
The best story I've read involving Ultron is Annihilation Conquest, and that story didn't need a connection to Earth to be great.

If you aren't wanting to read that lengthy interview here are the highlights: The updated information tells me that between October 2012 and February 2013 there will be a new series launched or re-launched every week. This includes but is not limited to, Iron Man, Captain America, and Thor (the latter two aren't even that far along the last relaunch). Further explanation into the machinations of Marvel reveals that they want to bring more unity between all of the characters; like it was "back in the day" where anyone could team-up with anyone. Hence the X-Men in an Avengers team and Rocket Raccoon and Nova chilling on Earth. Also, good news for Daredevil fans. Since the book has been such a critical and commercial success, Marvel is keeping Matt's core title out of Marvel NOW's new plans and relaunches.
A few lingering thoughts and concerns are as follows:
Nova has done well on the animated series Ultimate Spider-Man which leads me to wonder whether it will even be Richard behind the helmet.
I very much enjoyed that despite everything going on Marvel Earth, there were interesting things happening far away but in the same universe. This allowed characters to grow separately from Civil Wars and Fear Itselves. We saw Nova become a dominant hero in his own right becoming more mature than the kid we knew in New York.
A problem with having the focus be Earth is that you limit the stories being told concurrently. The more death threats on the world at once, the less believable of a threat it actually is. Not only is there a lack of impact, but now you lose access to hosts of interesting alien races, cosmic deities acting out in a grand scale, and ultimately casualties. It's much easier to show how decimating the army of Annilhus was when they were destroying entire civilizations. It becomes easier to have the reader become concerned with parts of the galaxy that are expendable. Earth isn't going anywhere but the Kree homeworld might face utter destruction. It is also easier to imagine that bad things happen in space. Sometimes I get a little sick of intergalactic enemies coming specifically to Earth. Especially when you have countless other inhabited planets out in the universe.
Finally I'll leave you with what appears to be a working cover to Uncanny Avengers issue 1 drawn by John Cassidy. I like his art tremendously but this cover looks like $%^& and the costumes (Cap and Wolvie aside) are effing terrible. I guess Polaris rummaged through Rogue's closet and there is a spoiler alert letting us know Scarlet Witch survives AVX.
Wait, is that actually Rogue on that cover? I guess I just assumed Polaris because she was standing in front of Havoc, but I notice white hair now with no green locks in sight.
Sometimes I replace myself with an animal painted green. Beast Boy; Teen Titans GO!
Depending on what they actually do to the Fantastic Four and if they keep X-Factor, I may be done with Marvel. Crazy to say considering I've been reading Marvel for 20 years. I kept up with Spider-Man throughout the Clone Saga. Stuck through the Heroes Reborn and Return era. This is may be what does me in. Too old for this crap (potentially).
Nova and GotG will both be starting up again. Do you really think they are going to do a GotG movie if it can't even keep a comic going?
And why are people acting like all other books are being canceled? A few books will be restarted and there are some new books. All the old stuff will still be there.
I don't see anything saying GotG is starting up again. Just Rocket Raccoon. Nova, sure, but basing him on Earth is pretty much undoing everything that was established in the previous Nova series, like Richard Ryder being dead, after having taken the Worldmind and pretty much all of the Nova Force with him. Oh, and speaking of GotG, they are back (with Drax, who is supposed to be dead) - in that Avengers title where they're fighting the new Zodiac - which is led by Thanos. Who is ALSO supposed to be dead.
My point may not be clear. It seems to me that other than the Kree and Shi'ar situations, Marvel is completely ignoring EVERYTHING that happened in Nova, GotG, Annihilations, and Thanos Imperative.

Cosmic titles should be in their own isolated corner. That was what was great about Nova and GotG, and by extension, both Annihilation series. Stuff happens off of Earth, and we shouldn't rely on Avengers or Xmen (who SHOULD be Earth-based) jetting off into space for it to be revealed or dealt with, when there are interesting characters out there for stories to be written about.
