I stopped caring about Sargon after you confirmed they are not heavy and are not light, now I care about powers/game effects I have yet to find to affect immobile objects, hence I ask: ARE THE GEMS STILL IMMOBILE?

But you don't use the cards when attached to the gauntlet, so why would that still affect them? I feel that is analogous to saying I should use the cards for all of the Batman Alpha figures to help me understand how they interact with the game.

You do still need to use the Batman Alpha cards since it lists Keywords and their real name. You just don't use how the powers interact.
Similarly, the object cards show that the gems are Immobile but you don't need the flavor text because it is being attached to the gauntlet.
I wonder how many people will show up to worlds with gauntlets and not bring the cards for the gems?

Damage Control BFC FTW
I can explain it to you, but I can't understand it for you.

Why wouldn't you use the cards with the Gauntlet?
Does anything specifically tell you to throw the cards out?
You can swap 2 Heavy or light objects with each other... Both objects have to be Light or heavy.
Actually, now that we have Ultra Heavy, it would be more accurate to quote the power and say "non-immobile". So, blue rings can not be moved, which the gems are.
I see it all the time, with figures and objects. What makes you think people will be better than the norm with a new item that is more complicated?
So you are saying that because people sometimes forget their cards we... what?
If you and yours wish to institute some kind of house rule regarding cards, characters, objectes, and such, you are welcome to do so. Bottom line, though, is you are supposed to have them. It is part of the required materials outlined in the Comprehensive Tournament Rules.

No. The power specifies light and heavy.
And, from the RB on page 20, we see:
ULTRA HEAVY OBJECTS
An Ultra Heavy object is a heavy object with a purple ring instead of a red ring. Ultra Heavy objects follow all of the rules of heavy objects with the following changes:
• Characters with a point value less than 100 can’t pick up or hold this object. Any game effect that would lead to this results in the object being dropped immediately, as if the character lost Super Strength.
• When used in a close combat attack, modify the character’s damage value by +3 instead of +2.
• The object can’t be used to make a ranged combat attack.
• The object can’t be targeted by Telekinesis.
• The object is only destroyed when it is dealt 4 damage (instead of 3).
• This object may occupy more than 1 square.
Nothing in those listed changes would make an Ultra Heavy not a heavy object as far as Sargon's Illusionary Swap is concerned.

Actually, I might not have the individual cards since the card for the Gauntlet explains the effects: all I don't have without the individual cards is the "how to pick it up" explanations. I understand you're supposed to have them, but would the Gauntlet card be considered enough?

The fact that many highly skilled players/judges that are very high up in the Heroclix community have told me in person at their tournaments (and at Origins) that the gems' cars are not needed on the gauntlet are what led me to believe I did not need the cards.

I'd allow just the Gauntlet card if you asked me. But, strictly speaking, you are supposed to have the cards for all your game elements that come with cards.
