Kudos all around to daemiendrake (and girlfriend), SLVRSR4 and the rest of you true gamers for also given them credit where credit is due. Great article (as always) and since I'm a huge Marvel Fanboy (Avengers specifically) I doubly enjoyed it. I really enjoy all of these postings, so again than you all.
Great article! I'm now digging through my bow of ogled age stuff to see how many of these hawkeyes I have. Going to try and use as many as possible in a 1200 pt golden age game tomorrow. And thanks again for undertaking the task of writing about the (IMHO) best comic archer and his baton wielding woman!
Redwing KO List: Captain America(Bucky), Rojhaz, Viper

There's more to come! Part two comes out tomorrow and part three is on Friday. It was an unprecedented schedule for me, but then again...it was an unprecedented kindness from you.
I figured the timing was good. Gives all the souls like me that aren't able to attend Gencon something fun to read besides all the fun stuff that people are doing and getting at gencon.

CT Hawkeye was a casualty of a rules change. It used to be that when you used multiple targets, your damage became 1 for each target.
I know that was how it worked for Mage Knight back in the 1.0 day, but I don't remember that being a Heroclix rule ever. Granted, I didn't start playing until around Mutant Mayhem/Legacy, so that might be why I don't remember that rule.
Anyway, great first part of your article! I also pledge to drink a beer in daemiendrake's honor on Friday, when I don't have to get up early the next day to go to work. Congrats!
great article the sharpshooting avenger was always and still my fave people at my venue are getting tired of using the cw chase as well as hawkeye mocking bird

Awesome. I hope you plan on reviewing the Fantastic Forces Hawkeye as well though in part two. That is probably my favorite double base figure made yet. He's lost a bit of luster in recent years (as have most older figures) but he's still outstanding.

it was a rule.
way back when we had to go uphill both ways to click a figure

All the Hawkeyes that are left (Except the duo with mockingbird) are in part 2.

I was so sad when I got my Clobberin' Time Hawkeye out and tried to play him in a game for the first time. Even at the time, he was a turd.
And yeah, the Infinity Challenge rulebook stated that for a multi-target attack, a figure's damage automatically became 1 (whether it was being raised or lowered). I was glad when that got changed.
Oh man, we got a Negative Man and a Jimmy Olsen? Now I need to think of a new signature after all these years!
