Terribly sorry about the delay DC, crazy busy schedule at the University combined with me kicking myself over completely missing that brilliant move with Darkseid. I'll try to keep things on track as best I can here!
Exiles: Turn 5
1) "Im... possible" Holocaust mumbles in a semi-dazed stupor as he violently unearths himself from the sudden, improvised entombment, staggering to I11-12/J11-12. Holocaust takes 1 from the push.

Alright, so I'm trying to interpret the rulebook here regarding multi-base figs before committing to the next turn, and I'd like your rules interpretation on something here.
If Major D was feeling his wild oats and punched out the blocking in L13, it would open a direct diagonal between Darkseid and Holocaust's J11 square. However, that LoF would be apparently blocked at the diagonal from Holocaust's J12 square and the K11 blocking.
I'm looking at the multi-base rules:
Quote
When attacking or drawing a line of fire to or from a
multi-base character, the player attacking or drawing
the line of fire can choose to attack or draw the line
of fire to or from any one square occupied by the
multi-base character. When attacking a character
on the same elevation, a line of fire to another
character will be blocked if it crosses any square
occupied by a multi-base character. One square of
a multi-base character will not block the line of fire
from another square it occupies. When a multi-base
character’s attack or line of fire involves multiple
targets, each target may have a line of fire drawn
from a different square, as long as each square
is one that the multi-base character occupies.
I've bolded the part that I'm basing my interpretation on, and my interpretation is this - Darkseid would need Omega Effects to draw a legal LoF to Holocaust, but Holocaust could draw LoF to Darkseid normally, since LoF drawn from one multi-base square is not blocked by other base squares of the same figure and it says nothing about LoF to a multi-base.
******
Without needing any prompting, Darkseid's allies quickly paved the way for the Lord of Apokolips to continue his attack. Holocaust once again felt the full might of the Omega Beams, but once again was not defeated, although his containment suit was showing incredible amounts of damage.

Free) Drain the Spectrum - Green
1) Black Hand flies to I18
Free) Black Hand OW toughness on Holocaust
2) Major D pushes to punch out the blocking at L13
Free) Knowing how fickle the dice can be: Darkseid PPX up his own Attack Value
3) Darkseid push (Willpower) to shoot Holocaust (Omega Effect 1)
- (10+PPX) 11 vs (17-DTSGreen) 15. A (5,5) 10 will hit.
- Assuming a PC from Holocaust here - (5,6) 11
- Holocaust takes 5 clicks. SA to Darkseid, AST to Hand.
Darkseid will Mastermind onto Major D only in the case of a critical hit.
Black Hand will only use Protected on a Critical Hit

Hey DC, really sorry to let you down like this. Starting at University again just turned out to have been waaaaaay more time consuming than I would initially have expected, and unfortunately the only time I had to give was my HCRealms time
I really do *think* I've mostly caught up to everything now, and I definitely have no intentions of abandoning things here if I can help it.
Best of luck in the rest of the play offs DC, I'll be gunning for a rematch next season!
Regards
