Map will have no impact here. We're all playing on the Runner map (can't remember the name), as this is the Gauntlet tourney to win the Runner figure.

Loki doesn't have a lot of weaknesses, basically just move and attack capability. TK is his best friend. The 50-pt Enchantress gives you TK and prob control ... that's all Loki can ask for, seriously. If there are enough points to toss in a decent secondary attacker too, do it. If the opponent has a fig with pulse wave, take that fig out first, as it's the biggest threat to Loki.

All suggestions are pretty good. There is a counter to every strategy and for the one you are hoping to use, be aware a well placed Unspoken or Leech will stop the barriers. With back up shooting from afar, you will need mobility and a way to counter it.

Not saying it will happen, but you should consider an opponent that can reach you first turn and prevent the barriers from coming up.
