First preview I've seen in a while that's actually excited me.

Yeah. I'm a huge Great Ten fan, but I'm mad about this. How about we see Thundermind, Celestial Archer, Immortal Man In Darkness (who should've been among the Vehicles), Mother of Champions and Shaolin Robot first before we get any #@%#$%^#$%^ REMAKES?!? Unless we see all five of those somehow join him and Socialist Red Guardsman in the set, I'm going to feel very cheated by August General In Iron's inclusion here.

Penetrating Quake (OK just one opposing, but still sweet!).

Indomitable.

Can heal up to his top click (2 actions, but easy with the already mentioned Indomitable).

Exploit + Super Strength + over 100 points(Tank Turret anyone?).

I think the General has a Play Date with Eradicator!

Of course I want all the Great 10, but it is nice to have this guy

He can do Penetrating Damage on 6 of his clicks is nice.



Enhancement is a surprise.
As a Charge-In kinda guy I wish he didn't have it
and was 3 points cheaper.

Or had an 11 Attack on his first click instead of the 10.
10 seems a little weak for a 142 pointer.

He is good, but his preview should have come last month, it is now September, almost October.

I, for one, am very pleased about him being remade.

Sure, I want the rest of the Great Ten made, but at the rate they've been making them, I fully expected the earliest pieces to be completely useless by the time we get the last few.

August General in Iron has been the most prominent member of the team, showing up in nearly all of their earliest appearances, but also serving his team's and his nation's representative in Checkmate (during the classic Rucka run) and more recently on the Justice League International.

The number of appearances he has had in comics vastly outnumbers the appearance of any of the other members of his team. If this were a remake of Ghost Fox Killer or the Accomplished Perfect Physician, I could understand a little outrage. Those guys don't deserve a second piece before the rest of their team gets a first. The August General in Iron is another matter entirely.

Complaining about him, to me, is like complaining about Gladiator being made and remade before all members of the Shiar Imperial Guard have been made, or complaining about Starfire being remade before other Teen Titans like Kole, Azrael, Lilith, and Golden Eagle have been made. Some team members are not created equal. Some deserve more representation than others.

I'll complain about that since WK hasnt bothered to make a single other Sh'iar Imperial Guardsmen.

But I do understand the August General in Iron remake. I am not a fan of remakes but his appearance in JLI52 was pretty good in a title that otherwise did not live up to its potential.

Still I would rather have gotten Grace and Thunder from the Outsiders.

Character selection has reached an all time low for laziness.

I am so happy about this guy. I an stoked they're remaking him, and what that may say about the probability of the rest of the team showing up with remakes in these two Batman sets and probably the next DC set too. This guy made my day, and I cannot wait to grab him. Super super excited the Great Ten is getting more love. Especially since they're getting more modern age love.

I hope we get more of the Great Ten. I have never read anything with them in it (other than JLI with the good General) but I really like them as a team in clix (my only exposure to them).

All this hate, w..t...f This is a GREAT piece and amazing upgrade from the old one from what...5 years ago? Penitraiting quake paired with charge and flight and oh, indom, AWSOME. The ability to regen back to the top of his freaking dial, can i get two please? This guy will see alot of play out of me for two reasons. One, I LOVED the old AGII, played him likeit was going out of style, and this one does not disapoint. Two, that sculpt is great.

I will light my incense at my Great Ten shrine and pray the others of the team make the cut soon, or hopefully within the Batman set. Throw in Negative Man to finish the real Doom Patrol, too.

With all the outwit in the figures of a "bat heavy" set you'll need to have some stealth of your own upfront making sure he's not in the line so he can use that charge
