I'm thinking Multiple Man and a remake Quicksilver.

I definetly like the angel Idea, it would be cool if the Rookie Angel was the original, E was Archangel as one of the four horseman, and V as Archangel back with the X-men. Possible powers should include super senses, a good long range attack (he should be able to hit grounded charecters), and blades claws fangs to represent the metal wings.
