"He did mean you," Iron Man says unleashing a sonic blast that distracts Eros, "But from a different source."

"What???" he says trying to shake it off. A shield to the face stops his recovery.

Just as he moves past that he sees a hammer coming his way. "Here Eros, is thy Yuletide gift," Thor says.

He turns to Iron Man and says, "The saying often used on Midgard is true, tis far better to give than to receive."

I like Thor's last line. That's comdey gold. Check Surfer, Angel and Icicle's positions, they look to be off.

Air-Walker grabs Flash, HSS to B8 attacks Prime, AV11 on DV19. Gets 9, but Impervious is 5. Ends back in G4 with Flash in G5.

"Icicle's ice wall is no real obstacle when you have Captain Comet on your side," the hero said, blowing a hole in the wall.

"Aye, 'tis excellently well done," Thor said and threw his hammer at his fellow Avengers. The other Thor threw his Mjolnir and they met mid-flight, hitting with a deafening thunderclap before returning to the hands of their respective owners. "I like not this stalemate," Thor admitted.

"At least I can flush out their vermin," Spiral said. "Her squirrels won't help if I dice them to pieces."

"She's really not getting into the spirit of this is she?" Vixen asked.

"Not really, no," Black Lightning admitted.

This hasn't effected anything yet but I realized that the Surfer I corrected couldn't be right....too many points. 1R version is correct. Sorry.

I'll play this turn safe-ish. Angel rs to E13 attacking Spiral. Needs 5 + 1, gets 5.

Didn't see that Prime is free to use. Gotta try the Trio attack on Thor. Need 5, rolls 9. Imperv is 1. Thor takes 4. 2nd attack needs 4, rolls 7 but imperv is 6, he's safe. Last attack needs 4, rolls 7. Imperv is 3. So 4 more to your Thor. Prime gets two tokens.

Prime boosts their dv to 20.

It looks like I got Prime's attack right but you'll tell me otherwise. Prime seems maybe too good and maybe skews this game a bit.

Iron Man unleashes a bright light that blinds him. "This is almost too easy," he says.

"Thou art embarrassing me, Thunder God," Thor says as he slugs his doppelganger.

I see nothing wrong with what you did with Prime. Or nothing illegal anyway. Whether it's wrong or not, that's another question.

"BZZZZZZZZ. Thor has been eliminated."

"How are you feeling?" Captain America asks his ally, Thor.

"Embarrassed. Would that I could hide my head but my helmet already does much of that, anyway."

I fear your prediction about the game's duration may be right. We'll see, but Avengers Prime is looking more and more daunting.

"Face the wrath of the Power Cosmic!" Air-Walker said, shooting at the Avengers.

"Hey buddy!" Iron Man scolded him, intercepting the blast and absorbing it with his armor. "This is just a game here. We're not playing for keeps!"

"Tag!" Captain Comet said flying in and tryiing to use his telekinteic powers to hit the Avengers' buttons.

"Nay! Not this day ye will not!" Thor defied him and whirling Mjolnir in a circle, battered Comet back, disrupting his concentration.

"I want to know who decided that all three of those guys could be on the same team," Captain Comet sulked.

"They've been on the same team for years, and you can tell by the way they work with each other and coordinate their moves. It's second nature to them," Flash said in reluctant admiration.

Again, not to add to the wound but Flash should show two damage from Nightcrawler several turns ago.

Well we could start another game, even another Clixmas game with new figures, Christmas theme or not, that's short term oriented. Let me know what you think but if you want to, I'd like to have it set up this week.

Air-Walker is your biggest threat. Prime does the double power thing and targets AW and Spiral. Rolls 7. AW's ss is 4 so he takes 5. 2nd roll is 6, 4 to AW after invulnerable. 3rd roll is 8, enough to finish off AW and Spiral both.

Angel rs to D10 attacking BL. Needs 6, rolls 10. 3 to him.

Prime is a broken figure. I'm willing to go on but it's awfully one-sided.
