Kulan-Gath has used the power of the Serpent Crown to bring them back to life in the modern world.

In their lifetimes, each was a famed warrior and feared killer, the super-villains of the stone, hyborean, iron and bronze ages. Think of it like McFarlane's "Spawn" (and Medieval Spawn, and Viking Spawn, and Samurai Spawn, ect), they each lived a life in their own time periods and had their own adventures there. WCAvengers turn 1a

The quinjet tore through the air, which bore a hint of the salt water below. It descended rapidly toward the shore as Iron Man expertly manned the controls.

Hawkeye interrupted the landing sequence. "Hang on, Shellhead," the archer said, "let's get the sky-cycle into action." He turned to his lithe, blonde wife, saying, "Are you coming, pretty bird?" Mockingbird nodded in assent.

Soon, a team of Earth's Mightiest Heroes advanced toward Kulan-Gath's advance guard. Sersi led the way with Moon Knight, and the Avenger in jet and silver remained silent, seemingly pensive. Wonder Man, Ant-Man, and Wasp rounded out the team, while Iron Man took the quinjet back into the air for aerial reconnaissance.

Kulan-Gaths Army Turn 1b:

Story:
Kulan-Gath rises from his sitting position, and begins to chant a spell, slowly a mystical armor begins covering his body. 'Forward and crush them all', he orders. Llyra summons a wave from the ocean, which the Water Elemental merges with and the wave goes across the ocean, carrying it. As the wave teeters out, the elemental glides along the water stopping next to Hawkeye and his Sky Cycle, wrapping itself around him.

Both of the Snake warriors rush across the water to the small stones on the island in front of them, waiting the the enemy.

WCAvengers turn 2a

Sersi carried Moon Knight forward toward their foes. She addressed Moon Knight, saying, "You have concert with a god, so you say. Before our trip to Olympus, it had been centuries since I had had direct contact with the gods. Your patron was known for traveling far distances to aid with healing and..."

Moon Knight barely looked at her. He silently dashed forward, grabbing a heavy stone on the way, then took cover near an outcropping.

Sersi watched his progess. 'You do not want to speak of Khonshu; that much is clear,' she thought.

Hawkeye was a bit too distracted watching his beautiful wife Mockingbird alight from his sky-cycle. One of the sorcerer's water elementals had made an incredibly fast advance across the water and had suddenly appeared at the archer's flank.

"Hawkeye!" Ant-Man shouted, "watch out!" He pointed toward the menacing swell in the water that seemed to feature two glowing eyes.

Hawkeye reacted quickly. He raised the sky-cycle slightly off the water surface, waited a moment, and then gunned the rear propulsion unit. He had a little trouble maintining his balance, but the resulting blast disrupted the water's surface and the current below so that the water elemental was unable to react immediately. It seemed to swirl and create an eddy under water.

"Thanks," Hawkeye said. "I don't think that hurt that thing much, but it should buy us a couple seconds."

Finally, Kulan-Gath's incantation was completed, his armour sourunded him and he slide into it. "Now it's time for battle!", He yelled
Llyra saw what a happened to the Water Elemental, She began some incantation, causing the waves to swell nearby Hawkeyes sky cycle. Suddenly and very large wave Crested and hit the Cycle with full force, shutting down some of it's components and nearly knocking Hawkeye off of it.
The other water Elemental went across the water and onto the island next to it, with the snake woman slither behind and grabbing a large rock in her coils.
