But that is very interesting that you get an automatic 2 clicks of unavoidable damage to your opponent just for taking a second action.
No, you get two clicks of PENTRATING damage. Unavoidable damage is a completely different animial.
True, your damage reducing powers aren't too terribly useful against this effect, but you can still ignore the damage or transfer it just fine. You couldn't do that with unavoidable damage.

Ahhhhh. That is true! Very nice. That is very specific wording that I didn't immediately pick up on. So, in theory, an opponent could Mastermind the damage away. I was going to say Super Senses as well, but GR's power does count as an attack, right?
What would be other ways that the opponent could ignore the damage? I can't think of any powers that would allow for this unless they had a Special Power that specifically said, "When this character would take damage".

Correct.

Effects that ignore damage are indeed pretty rare. Off the top of my head, the only one I can think of is Hulk's Limitless Rage.
Limitless Rage: Hulk can use Toughness. Hulk ignores all damage dealt to him unless it is dealt by an attack and the attack roll is doubles, but not a critical miss. Friendly characters cannot use Probability Control during an attack that targets Hulk. This power can't be countered or ignored.
Thanks for everyone's feedback on the Ghost Rider power. I'm the foolish judge who sometimes takes a minute to decide upon the intention of a Special Power. It was our ASM set week at the venue, so this was my first time to see Ghost Rider in play.
I guess the power does make sense based on the wording and that's how it will be ruled from now on.
That's how I initially felt that it was worded. I was just a bit worried that it was overpowered and I was forgetting some rule. But that is very interesting that you get an automatic 2 clicks of unavoidable damage to your opponent just for taking a second action.
Keep in mind....it is 2 unavoidable clicks. Even if your opponent rushes to KO Ghost Rider to avoid the 2nd free action at the beginning of the next turn, they will still take the Mystics damage. So, no matter what happens, your opponent will take 2 unavoidable damage for simply taking that second action. The only real defense against it is to make sure you are far away from Ghost Rider as it only works within 3 squares.
It's a very impressive power.
Its weakness is the same weakness most powers have, Outwit.
you can really abuse the state of having two tokens if you play him with the misty knight/colleen wing duo, on the dial that has a special damage power where you can give her a power action to remove an action token from an adjacent character with the heroes for hire keyword....
Ok well im still confused because now i have coflicting answers to this question. I was the opponent in question during this match. I asked my judge SLVRSR4 this same question yesterday and i was told the official wizkids rules say action tokens placed on a character dont actually go into effect until the end of your turn. So you would only be able the use the Hellfire Chain ability when you begin your turn with 2 action tokens already in place because placing and clearing action tokens are the very last thing you do. This makes sense to me. I don't want to seem like im crying about it but id like to know for future reference.

If someone starts saying stuff about "official Wizkids rules" ask them to show you where that rule can be found in publication.
Page 8 of the 2012 Rulebook:
ACTION TOKENS When you give a character any action (other than
a free action – see below), give the character an
action token as the action resolves and put it near
the character’s base on the map. You can use any
small object, such as a coin or bead, as an action
token. A token reminds all players that a character
has been given an action.

That's just incorrect in every possible way. Placing action tokens is the last thing that happens during an action, but once they're there, they're there.

Placing tokens is the last thing you do in an action. Clearing tokens is the last thing you do on your turn. They are not related conditions at all.

A token is a reminder that a character has been given an action. But the token is not in effect until the end of your turn. This is what i was told. He might not have said "official wozkids rules"

The token is "in effect" as soon as it is placed, which is during the resolution of an action.
Do you also play that pushing damage is not dealt until the end of your turn? Because it's dealt when that second token is applied, which is as the relevant action resolves.
Like i said this is what i was told when the question was asked. just trying to get a straight answer.
The straight answer is there's no such thing as a token going into effect. You would give the second token as the action resolves, not at the end of the turn, and from the moment you give the character a second token until the time you clear them, that character would have two tokens.
Ok i was also told that if you push a character to outwit you can not use that outwit until the end of your turn. Is this true as well? Or has someone been feeding me false information?

Sounds like someone's been feeding you false info.
Now here's what you do:
Print off a copy of the rules for every player at your venue. Lock them in a room with no food, water, or bathroom facilities until everyone has completely read the book AND COMPREHENDS THEM.
