Batman 18 - I enjoyed it, kind of a "downtime" issue after the last big story arc, but I really liked this one.
Suicide Squad 18 - I really enjoy the comic, but it drives me crazy how Adam Glass keeps writing allusions to each character's past, but doesn't go deeper. Seriously, I want to know what's up with King Shark and I want to know who the little girl that visited Deadshot was (my guess is his daughter, but we'll see).

Star Wars #3 was great.
I really dig this series, and hope it doesn't become a casualty of the Disney/Lucasfilm takeover. (along with the rest of Dark Horse's SW liscence)

Well Glass has one issue to say whatever he wants, and then the book is in Ales Kot's hands. I would have been more impressed with issue 18's death, but with all of the Squad members pumped up on Resurrection Man juice, I'm not sure if the deaths really matter.
I can't wait for the change in writer and artist. Hopefully it means good things for the title.
I will admit that Fantastic Four turned a corner for me towards the better. It's certainly not of the scale of Hickman, but he's at least getting at the family aspect better. I just think it took him a bit too long to get there as far as pacing out the initial arc of this larger story... but on the whole I'm less put off by the change now than I was initially.

Thor 6 was extremely lack luster. Different art, a contrived plot, no Thor, and the massively over used ZOMG look at how thin Volstagg is in this 'nightmare'... Really not impressed nor keen on the possible cop out coming.
Definite thumbs down from me.

Yeah, it's picking up steam. I still dig FF a bit more. Moloid children and whatnot.

FF has had me the whole way. Fantastic Four has been, basically what you said: meh. It's just weird to see the same writer handling each book with vastly different tones and having WAY more fun with FF.
I do hope we see Jen Walters (un-Hulked) in FF at some point though. I wonder how the kids would react to that.

Only thing I'm not digging at present (though I don't outright hate it) is

the Medusa heel turn.
Still, should be fun. If I get my monthly dose of Bentley, all is well.

Indeed. I was all sorts of stoked to pick it up. Even re-read the first five issues again because they were so good. Then I opened issue six and I was sorely disappointed.
I hope this arc is quick and/or gets back to the main plot. What a supreme letdown.
On the plus side we have GotG and Thanos Rising starting next month. I have high hopes.
"Fantasy Football is not about having fun. It's about proving your better than your friends."
Yeah, I'm intrigued. Particularly for GotG, as I've been digging Bendis's X-Men stuff.
I've been meaning to get into that. Too much good Marvel right now. I've been stuck on Aaron's WatX. He's a pretty good writer and seems to have his hand in alot of good Marvel stuff right now.
