Walls
Characters with Blades/Claws/Fangs may destroy a section of wall if the damage rolled is 3 or more.
And that's been in there for a long time.
And now it should be reevaluated. If the logic to the game rules is that they say "A", then they should work the same way in every instance where the rules say "A". Both Enhancement and RCE say "A"; where "A" is "opposing figure". One should not work differently from the other.

My comprehension of the game is better than my understanding of how snide sleights at another's intellect further a discussion.
Anyone that understands this game doesn't need the FAQ anyhow- they can probably already figure out acceptable solutions without an extra 24 pages of text. The FAQ, if it consisted of logical straightforward answers, is most helpful to people that don't understand the game, or Judges who need abstract papers to figure it out themselves and make a simple ruling.
Even with the FAQ, I can travel to four different venues, and play some situations four different ways. It's not helping like it is suppossed to. A clear rulebook that says what it needs to would.
The problem is that some judges don't bother to even look at the FAQs. They just interpret the rules the way that suits themselves and don't bother trying to figure out what the creators intended...

Sorry, but most people dont understand the game even after being explained. The FAQ and Rulebook help clear it up. Some of its simple stuff. SOme of it is rulings that dont happen to often. Unless you keep up on the rules you will never have a great understanding of it. Even then there will be rulings that catch people off guard.
And Manchine, I only recently turned in my WH and WH40K Chaos armies for 'Clix. I've been playing since 1988, and still have around 2000 points worth of undead, since I actually collect those. Believe me, I'm well aware of the "Core Rules + Army Codex + latest issue of White Dwarf + pack insert rules + FAQ" syndrome that plagued that game. I don't want HC to end up that route, but if they're gonna have a 20+ page FAQ, then at least make it 100% coherent and concise.
Whenever someone asks me what I think the most dangerous animal is, i tell them it has to be a shark riding on an elephant, just eating and trampling everything in sight.

RCE says "single-target ranged combat attack".
Blades/Claws/Fangs, not Range Combat Expert. The logic used to derive one FAQ should have been used for both. Otherwise, it makes the answers seem more like shots-in-the-dark than anything meaningful.
For those of you who are fed up with the current muck the FAQ has been transformed into, may I suggest joining the discussions marked "TheSpirit Rules". TheSpirit has been kind enough to begin to organize a clarified rules-set; perhaps not entirely in line with the rulings now, but certainly much more in the spirit of the intent of the game, as well as much LESS contradictory and confusing. You won't be able to use the rules in Tournament, but from what I've read on HCRealms, your judge in Tournament play probably won't know a set of rules, anyway. Contribute and help clean up these SCREWED-UP game mechanics so you can enjoy a good set of concise rules.
Thanks.

I would say the Spirits Rules are just as bad. Look at Pulsewave. Just becuase he didnt like the way it was ruled he made his own ruling on it. Why make something the exact opposite that they ruled.
I dislike how they specifically allowed you to use pulse wave on your own figures. Hence the cheap hookers becoming huge. But oh well, I would rather play by the rules than house rules.
Sorry most of the FAQ is easy answers that make sense. YEs pulsewave does make sense. You need LOF. Just like Running SHot and Skrull ability. The rules are not bad. You just think they are.
