He said nothing under 100pts with 5 movement. None of those characters have a 5.

By movement he meant actions (poor choice of wording, but op did clarify later in the thread what he meant by 5 movement)... So yea, nothing under 100 points

That's what I get for scrolling to see if he quoted the post where I asked him to clarify that bizarre restriction.

Avengers Movie Cap 204
Avengers Movie Hulk 202
FCBD Thor (150)
CW Marquee Vision
SI Iron Man
GG Namor 009
That Namor is awesome in reduced-action games, as he subtracts from opponents' leadership rolls.

Are you expecting Avengers Prime, Cosmic Spider-Man and/or Ventry to make an appearance (all three on the same team would be disgusting).
Disgusting INDEED!!! Hope I don't face em, but could easily happen....am very sure to face all 3 of theese figs....several folks have S/V, and one inparticular has all 3. We shall see..gulp!
Thanos 350
Dark Phoenix 100
Brainiac 160
Nightmare 110
Magog 172
Dr. Fate 100 (if you don't have him then any 100ish pt figure with Prob or Perplex probably like Dr. Druid, Batman etc..)
=992
I was originally thinking Chanos with all the Flurry guys but you don't want a few Impervious' to ruin your day, so here we have 2x RS-Pulsewave, PB, Exploit, 2x Outwit, Perplex, 2 Prob, and most likely Map Choice. Nightmare + Chanos kind of breaks a lot of these scenarios. And when they take out Vehicles they are removing Chanos' biggest weakness and begging for him to be used.
aqhoffman- greatest post possibly ever
jtallday- Jon I wouldn't challenge you if I wasn't sure you are wrong cuz I don't have that kind of energy.
I played in a tournament recently with a similar format. It was 1000 points, and no piece could be under 200 points. No colossals, no resources, no feats.
My team, which won the tournament:
Atrocitus (main set DC 75th) 202
Sinestro (White Lantern) 249
Superman 300
Genis-vell 200
= 951 points
It left me a bit undercosted, but given the restrictions, and what I had in my collection, I did the best I could. And it was good enough.
Objects:
Bookcase 0
Computer 0
Dumpster 0
I'm sure you're familiar with these items, but for anyone new, each of those objects are 3D special objects. The Bookshelf (light object) and Computer (heavy object) each add +1 to the user's attack value. Yay! Free perplex! The Dumpster (heavy) doesn't get removed from the game when it's used, so you can keep using it and using it.
Atrocitus is great because his trait negates all the inevitable Impervious and Invulnerable, which come with all the unOutwittable Power Cosmic/Quintessence you're going to see with all these high-cost, high-powered pieces. Here's what it says:
Quote
BURN THROUGH DEFENSES: When Atrocitus attacks a character that's using Impervious, this turn that character uses Invulnerability instead. When Atrocitus attacks a character that's using Invulnerability, this turn that character uses Toughness instead.
By the way, I'm guessing (hoping!) this will be updating appropriately for the new PAC, to include Invincible.
@ divineshadow...great team, but am missing 3 of those figs
@ jonidschultz...another great team, but am missing the Phoenix & Nightmare. , but was thinking about the good Dr. Druid.
Appreciate the help, keep it coming, Monday is getting close!!!
It's good to be friends with the people you game with. Then maybe you can borrow what you don't have. I and my buddies at the two venues where I play often do this. Usually one of us will have a piece the other guy(s) don't. We borrow and loan pieces as needed, and it works out great for everyone.
