Yes, you can perplex up your damage (if it started at 3, you'd perplex it up to 4, then it would be reduced to 3 for the multi-attack).
YOu can not target the same character with both attacks. From the Sentinel rules:
"All Sentinels have a special multi-attack. A Sentinel can make two attacks against two different targets using two ranged combat attacks, two close combat attacks or one ranged and one close combat attack."
The key words being "two different targets".

oh, i was asking about perplexing the AV like from 9 to 10 or 11 before pulling the multi attack but if i can do that to damage so i m assuming i can do that to the AV too, but i think better off doing it to the damage part...hmm, thanks canadamaestro!

Sorry, I guess I read too much into your post. Most people rush to perplex up damage. You can also boost his attack and it will remain at that number for the rest of your turn (ie. for both attacks) unless you roll a critical miss on your first attack.

hmm, rolling a crit miss wouldnt allow me to finish off the 2nd part of my multi-attack? that s the gist i m getting from you...
can i use Probability Control on Sentinels? it doesnt say in the sentinel rules that i couldnt...i have a black cat-e on my team (no destiny allowed, dang...)

Sorry, I should have been more clear. You could still perform your second attack but you would have to do so with his normal attack value. Here's an example (I'm making up the numbers though):
- You perplex up Sentinels damage from 10 to 11.
- He rolls a critical miss and takes a point of damage.
- The attack value on his dial is now 9 (the number on the base, no perplex anymore)
- He can now attack with the 9 attack value.
Is this a little clearer?
As for prob control, yep. Black Cat can prob control his attack to her hearts content... or at least once per turn

I think you got it but the terminology is a little off. Critical miss doesn't "reset" the values per say. Critical miss inflicts one click of damage on the Sentinel (hence his attack value goes down in my example) and perplex ends when the character is healed or takes damage.
And yes, provided you don't roll a critical miss then the perplexed attack value (11 in my example) remains for the second attack.
These same rules would apply to his damage if you chose to increase that instead.

yea, i meant all that, i understood you, sorry if my terminology doesnt show how knowledgable i am, even tho i ask too many questions, i tend to leave out certain terms that makes it all confusing or makes me look stupid but really i know what i m saying and i understand you...you ve been a great help, opened some eyes of mine to the sentinel, always thought he was just a big fig taking up space in my carry-all but now i m starting to think he s truly nasty...only if i could ve heard some of shin's words...prolly having some life for once going out on memorial weekend lol
