I can forgive the dial not aging well (these days with that much blank space he could have had three more clicks of life!). I can forgive the Slingers keyword which has gone nowhere. It's the damage special power that really irks me for some reason. He should have just had regular Leadership, but only have it on clicks 1, 3, and 5. That would have been a creative way to show that sometimes he can lead and sometimes he can't. At the time he'd only be able to be lead effectively at 75 points, not 300, but not only is that another way to display his flawed leadership, it's an issue that would be self-corrected with the rule change. This design really annoys me.
