First place only gets to go to GenCon for 3/4 of a day??!!?

That would be a 3 or 4 day pass to Gencon but they are welcome to go for three fourths of a day if they wish lol.

You don't have to signup ahead of time, but you do have to purchase a ticket. 24$ lets you play all day.

Yes, we are playing all day long heroclix. There isn't enough time in the day to run 2 qualifiers, and a championship, and not restrict some of the rounds to 3 rounds. The finals (top 16 from A & B) will go till a clearly defined winner - 4 rounds.

Sorry, it should say 'SR or higher rarity' meaning yes you can use a bronze tab, but it counts as your SR

Events B & C start at the same time, in the 2:00pm timeslot

Events D & E also start at the same time, in the 6:00pm timeslot

Good to see this posted, No Tactics is an interesting way to reduce the complexity of Golden Age. That said I wonder what would be the cheese to rule them all.

Special objects: Batsignal, desk(free, the light object you want to play), and dumpster(free, counts as one of your heavies)... yeah pretty good

Bystanders: Alfred, Jarvis, Mary Jane, Alicia Masters... ok scary wildcard abuse here. I was going to say something about Lian Harper but, this could get out of hand.

Feats: Meh, underpowered vs resources, unless you count Armor (Armour) Piercing, would allow LAMP to be viable. Nanobots could be interesting with Gizmo around.

Battlefield conditions: I would bring Nightmare... Monster theme team anyone?

Resources: Well, at least they can't be assigned to team bases...

I don't remember if theme team bonus is in tactics. If so, Team bases would be even nastier. If they are not in tactics, then team bases will be nasty (you know since @300 pts they need free prob).

Ninja edit: Theme teams are in tactics. So no prob for team bases, also they will not get the bonus for first player.

I'm sure we will make an appearance...

Does no tactics include ata's?

Is event C modern or is it something different?

No to be nitpicky but I am assuming Golden Age means Golden Age HEROclix only right? Or should I be stocking up on Star Trek Clix?

tactics are all listed on page 20 of the current rulebook

event c is modern only

Since none of the ships are considered legal by wizkids for golden age, then by golden age we mean no ships. The away team fast forces however is considered golden.
