As opposed to Cyclops, a guy who's abandoned every woman he's ever been with? I mean, at least when Wolverine takes off, it's because he's a near-immortal amnesiac who's trying to recover shreds of his past. Scott's reaction to adversity of any kind is to just find a new warm body to shack up with.
To be fair to Scott, Psylocke was messing with him psychically so that one's not really his fault. Ditto for Emma (the fact that he stayed with Emma after Jean's death is another story).
"When the going gets weird, the weird go pro." - Hunter S. Thompson"
"Victim? Victim? Do you think this letter on my chest stands for AMERICA?" - you have been getting insulted by nextwave.

His behavior with Maddie Pryor, though, really leads one to believe that it couldn't have taken *that* much of a push. As for Emma, he went ahead and abandoned her in AvX. Really, Scott's unmatched ability to leave women high and dry should be regarded as a secondary mutation at this point.

Cyclops lied to Jean (and had Bobby, Hank, and Warren keep their lips shut) about his being married to Maddie when Jean was found by the FF and they formed X-Factor. He was also insanely jealous that Warren and Jean were potentially going to hook up with one another (while he was still legally married), and was even a little happy in side when Warren got his wings jacked up.
My favorite Wolverine/Jean moment was from Endsong. When he keeps killing her over and over and she's all "How many times are you going to kill me?"...
and he's all "As many times as I have to."....
Yeah. Chills.
This teal light of mine, gonna' stick it where the sun don't shine...
