I've been looking at this thread for ages and I'm only now understanding that Hawkguy is Hawkeye and not a gritty independent comic about a man who is part hawk (I have no idea why I assumed that).

Why is Hawkeye being called Hawkguy anyway?

I think this series is really helping fill the gap left by the non-existence of Stephanie Brown and a genuine, pre-retool Marvel Adventure series.
