Bamf! Nightcrawler appeared and swung a fist at Warlock, but the New Mutant ducked.

"Self will protect self's friends!" Warlock said.

"Admirable, but foolish," Cerise said, shooting Warlock.

"Ack! Must repair self!" Warlock said.

"Not today, pal." Black Knight said, disrupting Warlock's self-repair protocols with his Ebony Blade.

"You're the big threat here," Phoenix told X-Man shooting at him. "So you get to play with me, lucky boy."

"That's fine with me, but I warn you," X-Man said, barely fazed by the attack. "I play rough."

I knew Warlock was at risk but I couldn't resist trying out that sp!

Should have moved Magik last turn, thought I did. She goes to P20.

X-Man uses protected and takes 1. As a result he is now on a click where he can use two free powers: one he can knock back Phoenix and Dazzler to CD15 and he freely barriers, right next to them.

"Charmer," Cerise said, trying to follow up.

"Nightcrawler took me by surprise," Sunspot said. "Not you." He successfully blocked all her attempts to hit him.

"Nice trick with the telekinetic push," Phoenix told X-Man. "But I've got some pretty good tricks too." She hit him with the power of the Phoenix force.

Phoenix had best push on him, before you do more X-Healing on him. AV11 on DV17. Gets 7. 3 to him with Psychic Blast and he's KOd, but it cost me a lot to do it. 1 for the push, 1 for the Mystics.

"Oh no, you're not getting back up," Dazzler said, shooting at X-Man with a beam of coherent light.

"I'm not staying down," X-Man told her.

"Oh yes you are," Phoenix said, blasting him again.

"Are you okay, Phoenix?" Longshot asked.

"Yeah," she said, landing and going to one knee, "but that did take a lot out of me."

"Meggan!" Captain Britain cried out. "Get away from her!" He smacked Magma with the sign he had ripped off the side of the building. She was able to burn much of it away, but still took some of the hit.

"What's the matter, Captain? Too hot for your girlfriend?" Magma asked.

"Stand still!" Colossus urged Shatterstar.

"Rule number one I learned fighting in the games for Mojo," Shatterstar said. "If your opponent is bigger and stronger than you, don't let them hit you."

One thing I've noticed about the figures in this set, a lot of the ones you think should have the X-Men TA, don't. You'll want to watch out for that. Wolfsbane for example, couldn't have healed X-Man. Ultimately didn't matter on my attacks, but we'll need to watch that. I almost did the same in the World's Mightiest Game at one point with Hope and Longshot, until I realized neither had the TA
