Another thing I personally don't like Ken Rocafort's art or maybe I don't like the stuff they put him on. I know I hate him on Superman.
Loved Rocafort on Red Hood and the Outlaws, totally hate him as well on Superman. His grainy/gritty lines are more fitting on a title that's less "out in the sun" the whole time.
DC Comics makes another blunder....It's a shame too as I love DC, but as of late they are making some bone-headed decisions and this is one of them.
Geoff Johns reboot of the Lantern Corp. was amazing. The NU52 sucks! Besides Aquaman being a bad-ass finally, and not taken as a joke! The majority of NU52 sucks, from story to costume designs.
Most DC fans and readers can hope and pray for a similarity to a crisis reboot, or a reversal to Flash Point which caused this crap in the first place.
"Nearly all men can handle adversity, but if you want to test a man's character, give him power."-- Abraham Lincoln
"We buy things we don't need, with money we don't have, to impress people we don't like..."
I stopped touching any DC books when the Nu52 reboot started. Haven't really missed it too much honestly. I had some DC animated shows and movies to help me get through the withdrawal, but even they are moving to the Nu52 universe now. Fortunately Heroclix is still giving us pre-reboot versions of the figures, so I can still relive the old days of DC glory!
(Ironically, I keep hoping Marvel goes through a reboot because I hate what they've done to a lot of my favorite characters recently.)

I dropped all but my Green Lantern books post Flashpoint, and those will be going soon.
I feel you with Marvel. Strangely, for me, some of my issues are with the Cinema-fication of characters I like, Hawkeye in particular. The Jackson-ification of Nick Fury (Jr) made me groan, but I'll give that a pass since his inclusion made the greatest SHIELD agent of all time comic-canon.
Coulson Lives!
Watch Agents of SHIELD.

The entire Nu52 is like when they gave Superman a mullet to draw in the younger, 'hipper' crowd...4 years after Mullets had already become a joke. They just don't get it.
They traded their existing fan base for the Twilight crowd and they seem to be happy about it. So, screw 'em. They only get my money via Clix these days
And, seriously, if the mods would let me change my forum name from "Bat-Dude" to remove myself further from DC, I'd do it in a heartbeat, that's how fed up I am with the whole Pu52 bs.

I hate close mindedness. Nu52 > Pre-52. They did screw somethings up (JLI namely). But for most of it, it has been awesome. The new Justice League, Aquaman and Earth 2 all stand out for me. They are all great books.

Hahaha...guys the Nu52 really, really isn't all that bad. Chill with the aching yearning for nostalgia just a bit and just enjoy the stories. As some one that jumps on and off comics, I'll collect for 5 years, take 3 years off, jump back on again..DC is absolutley doing it correctly, it ALWAYS easier to jump back on board with DC and get new readers on board.
Just so you know Marvel badly needs a full reboot at this point it's near impossible to "jump in", extremely convoluted and very confusing. This is coming from someone that tried.
As a matter of fact I had someone explain the character Cable to me, then I brought him over and had him explain it to someone else "tell him what you just told me" just so we could have a belly laugh. This is coming from somone that owns Cables first appearance and the first two years of X Force comics.
Yeah, I am bummed about the change too. IMO, 95% of the Nu52 has been pretty awesome. The Bat titles, GL titles, Aquaman, JL and JLA, Wonderwoman, Flash, Pandora and Stranger....all these titles are incredible. However, there are three things that they have totally screwed up: the changes to Catwoman, the main Superman titles (though Unchained is showing promise) and now the changes to Lobo.
C
Things the New 52 hurt: Lobo, Wonder Woman (via her romance with Superman and black boots), Cyborg Superman's origin/identity, Cassandra Cain, Stephanie Brown, Oracle, Harley's costume and "link" with Ivy, Bizarro Supergirl, Joker's dress sense and fun, Nightwing's height.
Things the New 52 helped: Supergirl's characterisation*, Catwoman's debacle with Zatanna, Wonder Woman (via rescuing her from the nightmare that was JMS's run, and from pants), Desaad's threat, Batman's excitement/action levels, Barbara Gordon's legs, Mera's decapitated head .
