Near the outskirts of Bludhaven, a curious quartet appeared.

Moira McTaggart, Henry Peter Gyrich, Professor Franklin Storm and Willie Lumpkin appeared, all bewildered, particularly the two who were resurrected from the dead.

They were discovered by Shield agents and delivered to New York City,

Moira MacTaggert joined Professor Xavier, Franklin Storm was reunited with his children, and his grandchild, Henry Peter Gyrich reported to Avengers mansion and Willie Lumpkin reported to the post office.

Nova took Manbat back to Earth and released him into the wilds outside of NYC. She thought she was being humane because she didn't understand the nature of Manbat.

Feeling she'd done well, she returned to Xandar.

Manbat came to his senses and immediately homed in on the nearby Gotham City. He began stalking the wilderness outside of the city.

Doctor Strange, Zatanna and the Enchantress paid a visit to Hecate.

They gave her a warning. Stay out of their hair.

They addressed Umar similarly, This was where Strange learned that Mordo was here.

Next they gave fair warning to Nightmare.

Those were the major powers of the occult and it was necessary for them to know they were opposed.

Iron Fist and his company were recovered.

K'un L'un was done with them and ready to expel all but Iron Fist.

Iron Fist plead their case and won his plea.

The group was sent over to Shangri La.

Shangri La hovered in near proximity to K'un L'un.

Little else of consequence occurred on day 24.

When we return we will move to day 25.

Day 25: Early morning, on a restored planet of Xandar, in an alternate reality where heroes and villains of several realities are being relocated to coexist, primarily the Marvel and DC universes.

Victor Stone was conflicted. He was torn between the desire to locate his missing teammates; Beast Boy and Starfire and his duty to protect the planet from ongoing threats.

At the moment he; along with Raven, Wonder Girl/Troia, Aqualad/Tempest, and Speedy/ Arsenal were locked in a battle with the Fearsome Five, now four in the absence of Jinx.

He was facing off against Mammoth.

Mammoth connected with a solid blow that knocked Cyborg back, right into a rift in reality, removing Vic from the battle permanently.

Brainiac glared around himself, highly annoyed. His sudden appearance in an undocumented, unknown territory against his will was jarring even for one such as himself. He was oblivious to the terror he instilled in the natives of the planet that he'd appeared in.

He reached out to contact his ship, pleased to learn that it was presently in orbit around this unknown planet. he stalked over to a nearby building and began an interface with the computer systems of this world. He would soon know exactly where he was. There was a slight delay as he was forced to decipher the planet's languages.

While he was interfacing; and the planet's citizens were fleeing in terror,
Vic Stone, aka Cyborg of the Teen Titans, arrived through a rift in reality.

As soon as Vic was through; still shaken from Mammoth's blow, he spotted Brainiac not thirty feet away and groaned. He? Alone against Brainiac? One of Superman's deadliest enemies? Did somebody upstairs hate him?

Aphrodite IX was patrolling again and saw many Xandarians fleeing another plaza. Another disturbance? So soon after yesterday? She asked a fleeing citizen about it and was told a terrifying robot had appeared suddenly.

Aphrodite IX was an android herself and was certain she could handle any robotic threats so she decided not to contact Firelord as she was instructed to do, deciding to investigate before calling in Firelord and Nova.

She pulled her firearm and rushed to the disturbance.

Firelord responded to Nova's summons. She had discovered Brainiac's Skull Ship in orbit around Xandar and knew Firelord would want to know about it.

Firelord arrived and they hailed the ship ---- to no response.

They decided to attempt to force entry but were stymied by the ship's forcefields. The Ship's defense mechanisms triggered and they found themselves under fire by the ship.

After several minutes of intense battle, Firelord ordered Nova to go to Oa and bring reinforcements. If possible, John Stewart of the Green Lanterns since Firelord suspected this menace was from Stewart's reality.

Reluctantly, Nova complied.

Cyborg attempted to communicate with Brainiac. "What are you doing? Why have you brought me here? Are you responsible for all these kidnappings?"

Brainiac disengaged from his interface and turned toward Cyborg. At that moment Aphrodite IX arrived and opened fire on Brainiac, deciding Cyborg was not a threat. The bullets were useless against Brainiac. Brainiac blasted her apart with his hyper ray.

Cyborg was shocked to learn that such a beautiful woman was a machine. He felt a tinge of regret about her as he threw himself at his opponent.

Hawkwoman arrived on Thanagar and found her world in chaos. Two thirds of the populace were missing and none of the citizens available were of leadership quality.

She was filled with questions but she had no choice but to stay and try to help her people.

Batman learned of reports that the medieval people that lived in the territories outside of Gotham were plagued by a giant manbat that was menacing anyone that tried to enter the forests.

Certain he was just learning that Manbat was out there, he decided to investigate. It didn't make sense. They had recieved no other reports of new arrivals yesterday. Why hadn't any other reports surfaced? Was Manbat the only arrival of day 24?

Batman went out to search for Manbat.

The Legion ship arrived on Xanthu. Kid Quantum began to explain to her people what was going on. The people demanded that she not return to the Legion since she was the only superhero they had and they felt vulnerable without her.

Chameleon Boy insisted that the Legion would always rally to Xanthu's defense but they called him out that only a few of the Legion were available so they weren't strong enough to protect Xanthu well.
They brought out Nightcrawler and Colossus as examples of other heroes available to be called upon if necessary. The leaders of Xanthu were not convinced.

Kid Quantum explained that she would stay and try to reason with her people while Chameleon Boy, Wildfire, Nightcrawler and Colossus moved on to investigate Durla.

Cyborg was not doing well against Brainiac, but better then he expected. Brainiac hadn't killed him.

Suddenly Brainiac paused in his assault. A small shuttlecraft arrived followed by an aggravated Firelord. Brainiac looked over at Firelord and blasted him with the Hyper Ray. Firelord weathered the ray but in the meantime Brainiac boarded his shuttlecraft and sped off for his skull ship.

Firelord demanded to know who Cyborg was. Cyborg told him and Firelord nodded. He made a call and told Cyborg that Xandarian scientists familiar with Earth languages would soon arrive. Then Firelord flew off in pursuit of Brainiac.

Cyborg went over to consider the remains of Aphrodite IX, wondering if she could be repaired.

Nova arrived on Oa and collected John Stewart, Mar-Vell, Quasar, Supergirl and the Son of Darkseid Superman to come to the aid of Xandar. The rest were to remain in place if Oa was attacked.

John Stewart opened a wormhole to get them all to Xandar faster.
