I feel all the ships in a class should rated the same. When Kirk went from the refit Enterprise to the Enterprise-A he got a ship with the same abilities. Sisko's original Defiant was lost when fighting the Breen, but got a new one off the production line and used it to break through the Dominion's lines. I know I am swimming against the stream, but its my two cents.
