That said, I believe the implication is more accurately "Will there be a separate Wrecking Crew ATA card individual of this (and any other) Character Card?"
To which I reply "Perhaps."
I hope this helps.
I posted this in another thread, but I see you are posting here so will ask this and hope for a response (though I know you are not part of the design team).
How is the cost of the Wrecking Crew ATA justified? The cost makes little sense as the X-Force ATA gives what is essentially Hindering, gives no bonus for using charge, but costs 3 points (the WC ATA only costs 2). Thanks for any reply.
Regarding the ROC tourney update and I presume official tournament rules as well, would the character card with the ATA meet this requirement:
Print & Play: Every game element that was made with a card must have said card with it for it to be a legal element. You must have one unique card for each element in play.
My assumption is that since you assign the ATA to anyone with the keyword, having at least one character card with the ATA would suffice, but thought it would be worth verifying.

This is really great news. I love ATAs and this will go a long way to bringing the game back to minimal requirements to play. You will not need to print out an ata, it's on the character card of the character you are already playing anyway. Great job!
I expected you would only get access to the ATA if you play the character it is printed on, but from what I understand here, you can use the character card for just the ATA?
Can I assign this Wrecking Crew ATA to a force of characters with the Wrecking Crew keyword which does not include Absorbing Man and Titania or another character with this ATA printed on their card?
Does this work like a normal ATA or is it only available if it's printed on the card of one of the characters in my force?

You would need to ask the ROC organizers about any special rules they have for their events.
The point of Print N' Play is to have the text readily available for you and your opponents to have access to on a Wizkids approved game element. If you have a whole team using an ATA, but only one card, then that would be all you need. You wouldn't need each character to have an ATA card. As stated before, you could use the character card with the ATA and you wouldn't even need to be playing the actual character. You just need a legal game element showing the text of the ATA.

Hey red, I asked earlier in the thread, Chris said that you are able to use the card for ATA purposes without using the figure. So you can use the ATA without having to actually use the duo.

So, basically all this means, is that you can use an ATA of figs you pull and played in sealed, and don't always have to bring printed separate ATA cards if at least one of the figs has it. Nice and all, but a little clumsy since we have so many ATA's characters can use these days. I would much rather have character bios instead. But I applaud them for trying to help with something at least.

Somebody in GD might tell you something like this:
The same Power will have different point costs on different figures.
The same Team Ability will have different point costs on different figs.
The "same" ATA will have different point costs on different Keywords.
So basically, Wrecking Crew has always sucked so here ya go.
Wrecking Crew fans rejoice!
X-Force fans - don't be haters.
( this theory will sweep the idea of Wildcards sharing ATAs under the rug )

Thanks for the quick info Chris, Muncho. It's appreciated both in this specific instance, and as a general thing!
I don't even care about quick info, just quick communication. I am fine waiting on info. Thanks for exceeding expectations, Chris! (I'm sure it wasn't solely you, it was the whole team, and the behind the scenes Dark RAs we love, but you've become the poster child. Mostly because of your good looks.)

I really hope these are made separately at some point because I can see trying to remember which figure has the ATA, so you remember to grab that fig card as well, could be a pain if you aren't playing that particular fig.
