I love it all pretty equally, but I know several people (mostly women) in their late 20s who love TOS and never got into the TNG-era Trek. I think the retro feel of it appeals to some people.

I'd say its that darn Kirk and his bad-boy appeal. Dammit Jim...you even take the ugly ones!

In any case, I really like that they are doing this. I was beginning to wonder if they would ever offer anything outside of the Storyline events to support this game. Now I just have to hope that none of the prizes are going to be from factions that I plan to collect since I probably won't be winning any of them

And DS9 is far and away my favorite ST series thus far. Then Seven...I mean Voyager.

I am just after 40 or so and I love TOS but for me my true Fav is DS9. This event makes me real thrilled, even though I judge But I am trying to make my daughter who plays into the best so we can get a DS9

3rd choice: Enterprise
2nd choice: DS9
1st choice?: Well, i gotta admit its all about Kirk, Spock & co. and their ship. Be they in TOS, The original crews movies, or the two newest movies, any of those will do.

You know the Tower of Babel event could be fun but I hope they would do a mock up of the ship.

This is awesome! I love that we are getting extra toys from across the Trek universe. I can't wait to see what these ships are like, since there is so little material to work with. The Tholians seems kinda one-trick-pony-ish, but I could see the Gorn as being able to hang, kinda like Jem Hadarr.

I think the Tholians will be pretty rough to battle they were tough in TOS

My 11-year old son and I just finished watching Season 1 of ToS.

He loves it (as do I). The plots are phenomenal. The way they handle moral dilemmas - so few shows make you think about what you would do.

My son is counting down the episodes until the Tribbles arrive...
