Nope, because Superman did not destroy the Tank Turret by bashing Doomsday with it. He merely rubbed it against him lightly causing psychological damage, keeping the Tank Turret around, but making it kind of weird between them, so they agreed to remove it from play.
Couldnt we say... The object is destroyed once Superman smashes it off of Doomsday's face, then the actual player physically picks up the object that was just destroyed and removes it from the game, so it does not lay on the map as rubble?
We can't say that destroying an object and removing an object are the same thing. HeroClix has established they are two different things. It's the reason characters that can remove objects from the game get to remove objects that can't be destroyed, and why objects that aren't removed when used in an attack can still be destroyed.

Exactly. You can't destroy the Gamma Bomb at all, but Cyborg Superman's special power that lets him remove objects from the game allows him to get rid of it nonetheless.

Thats right.
No one stands in the way of Cyborg Superman's snack time!

I had a post that I thought went through earlier, but now revisiting the thread, see that it did not. Just to be clear, removing / destroying objects are different mechanics and VP was correct in that objects are removed after attacks, not destroyed. Changing the number required for destruction from 3 to 4 only affects the process of destroying the object.
Though the language in the turret has no bearing on being removed by an attack, I'd still consider the override simply to how much damage is required to destroy it, rather than an override of all methods of destruction. If there were another effect which would destroy the object without dealing it damage, for example the Gamma Bomb going off, the Turret would still be destroyed.
Telekinesis would be an excellent example of another way to destroy objects

Telekinesis
Give this character a power action and designate a target character or object (A) and a destination square (B). This character, A, and B must all be within 8 squares and line of fire of each other. Place A in B. If A is a character, it must be a single
base character and possess the or symbols. If A is an opposing character, make a close or ranged combat attack that deals no damage against A, and only place the character in B if the target is hit. If A is an object and B is occupied by an opposing character, this character may make a ranged combat attack targeting the character occupying B, dealing object damage and destroying the object. A character that has been placed by Telekinesis this turn can’t use Telekinesis this turn.

The Tank Turret can'y be the target of Telekinesis.

Ultra Heavy Object
When used in a close combat attack, modify the attacker's damage value by +3 instead of +2. This object can't be thrown.
Characters less than 100 points can't hold this object. This object can't be the target of Telekinesis.
This object can't be destroyed by an attack targeting it for 3 damage, it requires 4 or more.

Sorry, I was just trying to provide an example of how else to destroy objects in general, not specifically the tank turret. I should have clarified that initially, I wasn't thinking
