I don't know how likely this is, but you should ask if they'll let you use your PTO as vacation time rather than a payoff and keep your benefits for the next 4 weeks in addition to the severance. They'll probably say no, but it never hurts to ask.

I already asked, and they already said no. I told them that they could furlough me that way - but nope. Goes to show you how high they value their employees.
