I do the same thing. I vote and comment before reading anyone else's comments. Makes it interesting, and I think one of the best things is in seeing how someone else hears a song I love or really dislike and seeing their take on it.

Well, the only one we have left to weigh in is Drunky. I have a suspicion he's going to do one of his months long sabbaticals from the realms so if he doesn't weigh in in the next two days we'll move on.

Colonel Beyond - my wife says that she appreciates you doing this, and that you made good choices (given the amount of songs that have that title).

I just grabbed the names that stood out. I probably do have a bias against pop. There were a bunch of groups I didn't even look into. I know a lot of folks don't like Mark Gormley but I just can't resist using him when the opportunity presents itself.

It's unlikely we'll be hearing from Drunky for a while. He has an unfortunate tendency to drop out for months at a time and I think that's happening now.

Harry Nillson took this one, but not without a fight. only one pointseparated 1st and 3rd place. Doobies took second by virtue of having one more first place vote than Manfred Mann. Mark Gormley 6th? I better check and see if hell froze over.

Edit: I checked and though Hell hadn't frozen over yet, there was a room and a door with a sign that said, Reserved for Gary Cherone.
