Yeah I was not going to have you go first as giving Nekkrod that prime spot is going to make this game nearly unwinnable now as almost any move I make gives you an auto win now. Time to think about this. Stupid Map

As per the BFC, I'm pretty sure the range of Perplex, Outwit, and PC all have their range halved to 3. I know that they have a minimum range of 6, but that is under normal circumstances. The rules of the BFC override everything else.
I also just want to make sure you know that you can't leave the fountain box. The dolphin ability lets you ignore water, but you are also surrounded by hindering terrain. As per the rules of movement through intersection points, "A character moving through a hindered intersection point stops movement in the square immediately following the point along its path." I'm assuming you know that since you stopped right after the intersection before, but I'm just making sure
Actions:
1.) Dracula flies to F17 in semi-stealth behind the blown up pillar's hindering terrain.
2.) Doom picks up Roulette and flies to E18, placing Roulette in F19.

BFC: SHRUNK All characters with the damage symbol have the damage symbol instead. All range values are halved, as is the range of all effects that have a range.

yup, i know i can't leave. of course, now im nervous about you asking that.
yeah i had asked earlier in the thread about mins, and tvk seemed to think that mins are mins regardless of anything else. reason being, it doesn't cut the minimum in half, it cuts your range in half. so destiny has 0 range, cut in half to 0, but then her min kicks in and stays at 6.
if you compare to TK, there is no "minimum", so the bfc affects it and makes it only a 4. if you compare this to the hydra deep space division ATA where it clearly says that it reduces the minimum range of that stuff.
im also wondering about nerkkod now too. cause i think i remember hearing that multiple replacements happen in whatever order the active player dictates.
so couldn't i state that i am going to use PW from where I am standing, which would cut my range in half from 4 to 2, then replace it to 10 from his power, and then replace it to 5 from the bfc so i can do a full dmg pulsewave on Drac?
Hmm.. yeah, I can see that. I guess I'm thinking of the idea of the BFC when it was made. At the time PC, Plex, and outwit had a range of 10 so they would have been halved. Now with them going off the actual range of the character with the minimum 6, the power itself doesn't actually have a range of its own anymore so IG is no longer covered by the BFC. And you're only getting an extra 1 range so it doesn't change much.

and it looks like i will be able to PW drac. replacements happen in any order, and the 10 range is a replacement, as is the shrunk half range. the PW half range isn't a replacement anymore, it's merely that the AoE is half of the range.
so I can do this:
Nerkkod wants to PW. His range is a 4. Shrunk is a replacement and halves it to 2. His Power is a replacement and makes it now 10 for standing in water. Now the PW power states that the AoE for his PW is half of his range value, so he PWs 5 squares away.
That is only true for replacements that happen simultaneously.
So that would only work if Attuma's power was optional. When he is in water his range becomes 10. Since you are in water that replacement has already happened, and isn't part of the PW replacements. The BFC is the same as well. It is a constant during the match that started before turn 1. So, since your range has already been made 10, and it has already been halved by the BFC neither of them take place simultaneously with the replacement from PW.

yes, they arent simultaneous with PW (which happens last), but Shrunk and his Water Power happen simultaneously with EACH OTHER.
so instead of making my range 10 and then halving it because of the BFC, i halve it due to shrunk (making it a 2 instead of 4), then i replace it to a 10. then PW (which isn't a replacement) just looks at your range and makes the AoE half of it, which would make it a 5.
The BFC says, "...ALL range values are halved, and..."
So your 4 is halved by the BFC to 2 first. Then it is replaced with 10 by the non-optional power. Then because this is a new range value, the BFC acts again and halves that to 5.

Funny thing I just assumed you could do that after all which is why I have been trying to think of a spot to place them that does not just get me killed by PW

No, the BFC is worded so that you can't work around it like that.
