If you can't tell based on costumes, comic accurate cards and certain powers this iron man set is based on an earlier variation to ironman. 80s-90s. That's why his suits aren't as advanced and certain villosnd are wearing specific suits.

Guardian gets 2, but Aurora and Northstar get 3?

Good reads for the entertainment value, but look elsewhere for real advise.

20 points more, and awful power compatibility. 2 for Guardian.

Guardian is probably a 2 1/2 star fig with the power incompatiblity, the twins probably closer to 2 3/4 stars. Not as much firepower, but 20 points cheaper.

Play style also goes a long way in personal ratings for figures.

Because I have seen the GF Iron Man used very effectively--twice, in two different sealeds--, I would have to bump up its score by one. This one surprises you a bit.

Good review as always. I have to say though, I have used that Justin Hammer and he is no slouch. I think you scored him so low due to the comparison of the other J.H., he has indomitable, and the perplex helps boost other characters stats. On top of that he can take a hit due to Tougness. I think you were a little rough on him.

Yep, I agree, it looks like you rated him in a constructed format, which I agree with, but in sealed, you would be a fool not to play a 68 point fig with outwit/perplex and the ability to MC an opponents figs to also deal damage. Plus he has Indom.

There's nothing 80s/90s Iron Man about the chases we did get; they could just as easily have been done ASM style. These work for me though. I'd kind of prefer the chases to just be neat obscurities I don't care much about but would be perfectly content to pull.

The Iron Viking is an imposing sculpt. What storyline are these from?

They aren't from ANY storyline. That's why I feel they were poor choices for chase figures.

they made sinestro batman. so any other base they make is ok to me. why not is what i say. i personally wanted iron slayer. i pulled him in my brick so i'm happy. i can't wait to actually get some play him. i think he should be 4 stars easily.
