Just to clarify, the event this Saturday at noon is month two of Avengers vs. X-men. The format is 400 points, up to 300 of which can come from the AvX starter pack that you purchased at the beginning of the event, and the remainder of your force will come from a single booster. Those who have them can use the Phoenix Force, we have plenty left over from month one along with the two previous fragments available as well!

Edit: Due to the store selling out of boosters this week, the event is now going to be a 400 points constructed, modern age tournament. You must run at least 1 figure from the starter set in your team, no resources or team bases allowed besides the Phoenix force. Sorry for the last minute switch but we didn't know until today that this was the case.

Hey everyone, this Saturday at noon we will be running a 400 point sealed game with the new Superman and the Legion of Super Heroes set that just got released. We checked with the store and they are for sure going to have it in and ready for us this time, lol.

Hey everyone, this Saturday we will be running AvX month 3! Participation prize this time is the Emma Frost fragment for the PF resource, and either Professor X (Avengers) or Hope Summers (X-men) with White Phoenix Hope being the LE prize to compete for. Game is going to be 500 points, 200 of it coming from whichever starter you chose at the start of the event, and the remaining 300 points coming from 2 boosters of SLOSH packs (we checked and there should be plenty for us to use this time). You will also be allowed to use the Phoenix dial as well, and it can come from your total points not just your constructed. We are going to start at noon, hope to see everyone from last month!

Any news on potentially changing the start time?

With the influx of new people now seems like the best time to talk about that, what times and dates work for everyone? We have been running events at noon up until now but were looking at moving it to starting at 2 or so, would that work for everyone's schedules?

I get off work on Saturdays @ 2 now, so noon will not work for me. We have a thing where I can trade a Saturday for a Monday, but only once a month, so I might be able to make ONE game a month, assuming I don't have a con or a trip.

Just after noon around 12:15-12:30 works best for me but I could make noon

We will be doing a Draft game this Saturday at noon, basically just grab a booster and draft pieces one at a time. Depending on how many people show up we may do a battle royale with it. We will have plenty of maps but if anyone has one that they want to bring we can use that one as well.

Hey all, this week we will be running the event that was supposed to be run a few weeks ago at Organized Play, format is 800 points, golden age. Feats are allowed but only on non-modern age characters. Resources, BFCs, and event dials are also not permitted. beyond that anything goes! We're going to start at noon and hope to see folks come out!

I will be at hobbytown doing xwing demos on that day so I cannot make it. It is also international game day that day and it looks like there is a lot going on at scifi city hope y'all have fun
