This team could be fun, everyone has Indom. Which is great. But I like your other team much better for a tournament. If your worried about Absorbing Man LE showing up then I can see why you would want this team. Your other team will have some problems with him, hopefully he gets unlucky with his rolls. I played one in our last AVX tournament and it was a slow win. I had to incap him a lot and TKing him away seems to be a great way to handle the guy as well so you deal with the rest of his team. But actually Big Bertha is a bit of a counter to him as well. Tie him up with her and that 5 damage he deals doesn't mean much, plus she has Indom and he would have to push, unless he has that ATA. Good luck and hope that helps.
Hopefully you won't see to much stealth, but there is a lot of talk about Sharon Carter ( who I am planning on using myself at our AVX next month)
...
However I don't know the final ruling on this but my understanding of TK is that you can now target someone who is stealth-ed with TK. Because you are "targeting" the square. You still have to roll to hit though. So that is one way around it. Also if you see Sharon Carter smash her quick with a bertha/object charge. And keep some objects around for Mags to throw around. I seriously like your team and am going to tweak it to 400 point game with a friend.
Someone please correct me if I am wrong about these rules. I am just getting back to the game after a four plus year break and a lot has changed. So I am still catching up and don't want to give anyone bad advice.
It is my understanding that this is true. I've been throwing together some teams with cheap TKers because I keep getting stealth blocked by the Avengers.
WaX Jean Grey is good, too, for cheap TK. 40 points can't be beat if you can keep her alive.
I played an Avengers team with Sharon Carter for month 1 and did pretty well but neither side of the month 2 map has a great deal of printed hindering terrain on it, so stealth may not be as much of an issue. I'm dropping Sharon this month in order to maximize my attack potential. With one side of the map (Flooded Wakanda) having a large area of water terrain, I'm sure I'll be facing more than a few Namors.
I didn't go to Harvard or Yale but I can kick a man in the crotch as well as any other.
