That's A-OK fine by me. Competitive clix is all about breaking the rule of actions nowadays, so I'm fine with something that can put the kibosh on that.
This.
This set is FULL of Game-Changers. I really think they are taking the correct steps towards balancing the environment. They looked at what the more Abusive-Archetype teams and made steps to limit them.
Alpha Strike Teams - Bizarro, Grundy, Mister Miracle, Guardian, Wildfire
Free Action Overload - Science Police, White Witch (I feel like there's another I'm forgetting...?)
Tentpole - Highfather
Resources -The Chases
Prob Overload - Takion
Stat Mod Overload - White Witch
They also seemed to look and try to raise the value of elements like Relics that simply aren't getting used.
I was hoping the Danger LE would be like the old Danger. She is not. Luckily White Witch is. Maybe I'll throw the Danger sculpt on White Witch.
aqhoffman- greatest post possibly ever
jtallday- Jon I wouldn't challenge you if I wasn't sure you are wrong cuz I don't have that kind of energy.
Not trying to Necro a thread or anything, just wanted to point out that a lot of players are now starting to catch on about how good a figure she is. Just in time for the Green lantern Battery to turn up and give her power to everyone who wants it.

My main complaint about White Witch is that I don't have one.
But seriously, I completely overlooked how good both White Witch and Science Police were because I really was only thinking of Perplex/Outwit/PBC type free actions.
She doesn't nerf moleman. Mind control allows for per turn or per game actions to be performed PER MIND CONTROLLER. You can't use CH RS HSS while under the influence of a moleman, or tony stark, due to that being 2 free actions, but you can absolutely move and then RS or RS then attack again.

Other than that, yeah... She's brutal.
RANDOM NOTE: I'm taking your sculpt and modding it into a sweet diving lariat pose.

Let me get that straight then, if Mole Man mind controls Shuma to use a move action that is his one free action right there (for the mind controller). Mole Man cannot mind control Shuma to charge or flurry or charge and flurry as that would be more than one free action. Shuma can then use his own action to flurry but can't charge and flurry because that would be 2 actions. Not nerfed as much as I thought but prevents him performing some of his attacks as normal.
To be honest I love the effect but I am likely to go off the piece because Wizkids decided they liked the effect so much they are giving it to everyone now.

I'm with you guys, I also enjoy the fixes for overpowered figures being that they just can't be given actions at all. My only complaint is that it took GD so long to figure out it out. Though they at least had the sense to make sure you don't have to position your characters or use any particular strategy for it to kick into effect. I like being able to just sit a figure on a map, and watch my opponents face fall when they realize most of their stuff just doesn't work, and I didn't even have to lift a finger to do it. It's extra fun too, every time I get to correct them as they try to assign actions to their figures, crushing tiny dreams of success over and over. I say it's their own fault for building a team that needs to use the powers it has to be any good.

Something tells me you are being slightly sarcastic there . Yes because someone who brings Shuma and Mole Man deserve to win every game. I think she is healthy, as are the Science Police because they actually make you think about your free actions not just go free action leadership, free action side step, free action to burn a ring, free action outwit, free action poison, free action perplex, power action running shot, free action ranged combat action. Limiting what a character is capable of is fine, she isn't in the same league as Highfather who stops you playing altogether.

This is actually incorrect. If you can legally begin an action you legally can finish that action.
Meaning if you have a character who has Running Shot and Perplex. The other character activates White Witch to block multiple free actions for each of your characters. You can still Perplex your character and THEN Running Shot. This is due to the fact that you can legally begin the running shot action. HOWEVER, you cannot use Running Shot and THEN Perplex. This is a very big distinction and why her Free Action negation is not nearly as powerful as her Stat Modification ability.

I never thought she was too bad because I would just kill her off first then not have to worry. If this was on a tougher higher costed figure it would be worse.

That is actually incorrect and makes her free action negation often more powerful then her stat modification ability
