Hey, just wanted to comment that IM's special power will have no effect on a character like Starro or Galactus because of the Quintessence/Power Cosmic TA. Their powers cannot be countered. Just a heads up. (I totally get what you're saying though. I have him coming in the mail, and while he's expensive he looks like soooo much fun to try out! All ya need is a decent medic nearby to support him if he gets popped.
"Our mother has been absent ever since we founded Rome; but there's gonna be a party when the wolf comes home."
@Owlman166: I kinda think he does affect Power Cosmic/Quintessence, since those are Team Abilities and his card states that he shuts down Team Abilities. Slayer_Xtreme mentions a ruling to this effect as well. So it looks like A) he counters the TA, then B) their powers and combat abilities get countered, then C) they're stuck with Earthbound/Neutralized.
But what I'm wondering is regarding the d20 itself: it has the standard combat icons plus the :improved:. I assume rolling a :a-fist: would not work against the :a-duo:, yes? So a transporting, indomitable, sharpshooting colossal has much less to fear from the d20 than a standard joe, yes? (Of course, rolling "ANY" is like Christmas.)

In the comics this guy has the ability to copy other characters and abilities so why didn't Wizkids make it to where: If Impossible Man does succeed in his D20 roll against an opposing character, he can use all those abilities that were countered on the hit target? That would have been cool and comic accurate. Still a cool gimmicky piece none the less.
Anyone that says this figure is overcosted is insane. His ability to shut down ANYONE is a good enough reason to build a team around him. He made mincemeat of The Main Man (new Lobo), much to my chagrin, in a battle royale the other day. Took out a Shang Chi and some other scary ####, too. Yes, his trait is only randomly effective, but it seems to go off about half the time. I am not pleased with the effectiveness of these D20 characters.
He's even better when your opponent uses resources b/c that gives him more colors of powers to affect. I played him on a team against a Slattern w/, among other things, the Submerged feat, so I couldn't even target the beast. My opponent assigned the nurse to Slattern and I just happened to roll black when I targeted it and killed it in one turn.
can the D20 roll be PC'd or rerolled via FI Dr Strange?

No to Dr. Strange's trait... to quote it, "when a friendly character... rolls a single d6... reroll the die."
Now Prob on the other hand doesn't restrict the type of die/dice roll, just when/how it can be rerolled. ;)
-Heroclix is not a game of logic, it's a game of strategy .... after all, when's the last time that you saw a giant (using a stealth ability) that was hiding behind a swingset... and nobody could SEE him????

Actually, that wouldn't work... WK has ruled that when any power refers to a power by color like IM's does, it has to be that specific power, not a power stating a name. So it would work with the Book (not Hammers), PF, and Sin Resources because they show powers by color. http://www.wizkidseventsystem.com/bb...p=13283#p13283
Your opponent got hosed.

there's one side to his d20 that's just blank, it doesn't mean any, because another side already says that. Does it mean reroll? is it nothing like a failed attack? Or do I have a bad die?
