Effective ways of dealing with a turtle
1: mind control a a low point/easy to ko piece. Run them out within range of your beatstick. Beatstick one hits the little guy into next week. Then the turtle has to move or they lose on points.
2: use barrier to protect your pieces until they get into perfect position. Then attack and barrier to block return fire. The snapping turtle eats the box turtle.
3: tk in beatstick. Beatstick beats face tk out beatstick.
4: S.H.I.E.L.D. Team ability. Hit him from beyond where they can get you.
Shark to the stomach crits2 Greatest clix moments:(so far) Nightcrawler crits winter soldier off elevated, disabled toughness, causing 5 damage.
Passing turns is pretty much the dominant strategy against teams using the Sniper Nest Winter Soldier from the movie set, if you manage to kill off the rest of the team or get a point advantage big enough that he cant catch up, just stay out of his LoS and say I win.
Not arguing any points, but how is it fun to play competitively, drive to the venue, then sit down and "pass" for 3-5 rounds? Seriously, THIS I have trouble understanding. I mean, my old friend would do it back in the day, but he never really played that long and was high as a kite back then, so, I'm not even sure he was aware he was playing a game.
1. I'm all about rules against multiple passing if it makes sense for that venue.
2. Turtling = legal. That's inarguable. That said, #### turtling. Also inarguable.
3. Got an individual whose idea of "strategy" begins and ends with sitting in a starting area and waiting for someone to jump into whatever stupid "trap" he/she has set up? Engage them and pound the snot out of them.

I don't see how it's fun to jump out of an airplane, either, but I don't tell my sister she's wrong for skydiving. If it doesn't hurt anyone, who the heck cares?

I have yet to see a reaonable explanation of why it makes sense for ANY venue.

This one's harder to agree with that it's inarguable.

I was playing with this really killer team once utilizing DC 75th Rare Larfleeze and my opponent wouldn't come near me. He just kept his team on a roof top and wanted me to come at him and get shot up in the process. He just kept passing every turn. I just kept on making Larfleeze constructs. When I had about 30 on the table, he realized what was about to happen...
